A great way to start your Phili, the clear boat ride finishing off with the para sunset sail for this vlog Love Yen's roast pork rice lunch, am sure Peter's chilli stir fried chicken is nice too Looking forward to seeing the next vlog this coming Sunday Have a great week of exploration
Hello L H, been waiting to hear how your adventures in New Zealand have been? Hope you're having a great time take care and hope the weather gods are treating you and Joyce kindly.
@@PeterandYen Good morning Mount Cook was great. Hooker Valley was frozen over with snow on the valley floor. It was really great walking with great care to be taken as it was really slippery. After lunch, we took a flight and landed on Tasman Glacier, it was a really nice experience being on top of so much "clean" snow, Joyce and I decided it eat a chunk of it QT was great, we were lucky that there was a festival of lights and the walk in the QT Gardens after dinner was fantastic We did the QT hill walk and followed by a ride on the Normad's safari ride into the Skipper's canyon. Glad it was some else driving it Weather in South Island was great when we were there and now back in Auckland since last Sat and weather here is great Be heading back to Malaysia in a couple of days By the way, food at Desa Corner here in Auckland is really good
@lh6135 wow that sounds like you had an absolutely amazing time. It's just the best seeing the winter wonderland in winter but on a clear day. Feels like another world. Enjoy your last few days in Auckland 😊 don't think we've tried Desea corner looks like a newer Malaysian restaurant. We'll need to try it when we're back 👌 make it a family outing hahaha
Excellent video! There are so many stunning areas of PI, such as Dumaguete, Banaue Rice Terraces, but your food choices were perfect! It is a gracious country to visit.
What a beautiful place! I don't think I've ever seen a travel video on the Philippines before, or possibly just Manila, which was very different. I love the crystal kayaks and the boat trip looks like a beautiful way to experience the sunset 🌇 Your meals sounded very tasty too 😋
Hi Peter & Yen, Welcome to the Philippines!!! 😎😍🥰 I'm so glad you here in our country!! Heya Nikki we weren't sure exactly where you were from 😁 but it's great to know you're a Filipino 👍 met a lot of nice Filipinos during our travels. We enjoyed our time at the beaches ⛱️ 🇵🇭 such a nice vibe and ate so much mango 🥭 😍 😄 hope you enjoy all the up and coming videos from your home country ✌️
I really like your videos because you give every information about the place where you’re traveling like professional travel guide Really professional 👍
Wow! Happy to see you visit the Philippines! hopefully you had a blast! Hopefully you get to visit more places at home. Theres a lot of hidden gems in the Philippines
Hey guys Darsh here from India 💝 Happy to see you guys again, it's always a fun watching you guys on your channel, there's always something new to your channel. It was amazing watching your vlog as always 😍 Loved it a lot💝 Thanks for discovering us the Phillipines life 😍 Yen was looking beautiful in her photos on the crystal boat Thanks for sharing us the phillipino nature side life😇 Hope to see you guys again soon Stay happy and healthy
Haha love the Oofos tan on the feet 😁.. Cool to finally see Boracay! I worked with a Filipino guy for years and one place he always mentioned was Boracay. Now I get an in depth look 😁😁😁! Looking toward to seeing the food too… ate a lot of Filipino food with him over the years so I’m looking forward to see how it visually compares with food from the motherland… especially if this is an indicator of things to come: “What’s the flavor?” “I really don’t know aside from like a yummy sugar drink.” 😂😂😂 Love it!! Beaches looked beautiful! Any cool sea life? Thanks for a look into Boracay and excited to see what’s next! Safe travels!
The beaches were magnificent in boracay 🏝😊 just the odd lil fishes were all we saw. Really would have been cool to see the whale shark while we were in Cebu, but after researching the activity just didn't feel like it was an ethical way of experiencing being with them 😢
@@PeterandYen seeing a whale shark in the wild is on my list of things to do before I die (think it was sperm whale for you? - sperm whale and blue whale would be so cool too)… but I agree, from what I’ve read, the whale shark viewing in cebu is not how I want to see them.. someday…
@SeoulMan2020 yes sperm whale, blue whale would be amazing and Narwhal are my tops. I've seen a whale shark a few times in aquariums but that's of course not the same as in the wild. Hopefully we all get the chance to tick them off our bucket list ☺️
We have tried sinigang many times it is one of our favorites. We've been waiting for many years to try Jollibee in the Philippines. It'll be in an upcoming vlog 😁
@@PeterandYen Can"t wait for upcoming vlogs. Maybe we can share some sinigang when you come back here in Aotearoa. Pretty good to have this winter time but looks like you're dodging winter here
Welcome to the Philippines! We had our honeymoon at Boracay in 2012, we stayed in one of the hotels at Station 2, the restaurants etc on the main beach come to life after sunset. There’s so much unspoiled scenery in the Philippines, my wife is from Leyte, and a good road trip there is from Tacloban via Abuyog, over the hills via the Agas Agas bridge, to Maasin on the western side, just amazing scenery. Another beautiful place is Puerto Galera on Mindoro island, if you go to the very north of Luzon, go to Baguio, Vigan city is a must go also travel up around Pagudpud, round the top and back down the Cagayan valley through Tuguegarao, Santiago city, and then take the road back down towards Manila through the hills. It’s a long way but beautiful. Also, if you get the chance to go down to Palawan, that’s more sparsely populated and very beautiful, nice beaches and very clear water. I’ve been all around the Philippines, I hope you enjoy your time there. Also, be aware that as a foreigner, you’ll be charged double or more the local price for everything. That’s one of my pet peeves in the Philippines…so I let my wife organise things there…
Thank you for all the fantastic recommendations. We've already moved onto our next destination, but we'll save these ideas if we make a future visit 👍 Yeah I hear you about the tourist prices 😅 unfortunately it's something that happens in many countries around the world. Just something that we have to accept and hone in on those negotiation skills 😂
Hi guys, Boracay is a great place to visit for 3 days just for relaxing.. The Island is sadly over crowded from when I went and the problem has a sustainability issue. Resorts accommodation struggled in the past with being said the island was a Cesspool 😉 In fact they closed the island back in 2018 for about 6 months. Because of the pollution caused by tourists and hotel waste management? Philippines is one of the dirtiest places on the planet and sadly many rubbish in the ocean ends up in other Asian countries!! Hopefully there are more concentrated efforts to keep this paradise clean so they don’t close again. Cebu is my personal favourite but either way it’s an experience 🙂
Yea that's right I remember they closed for about half a year and then not too long after pandemic forced another closure too! They did seem to have some measures to try keep the beaches clean in boracay so that was good to see but yea in some places (not the beaches we visited) definitely still see a lot of trash 😓 we visited Cebu too but just a short visit.. next vlog is from there 🙂👍🏻
Welcome to the Philippines, Peter and Yen!!! I’m one of those Filipino 🇵🇭 supporters! Happy to see you explore our country 🥰🥰🥰
😁 thank you for the warm welcome. We had a blast in Boracay. Such a lovely island 🏝
Glad you visited our country and Bora ❤
Glad to be back in the Philippines 🇵🇭 😁
Philippines has the Best beaches in the world ..stunning
They are absolutely stunning 😍 right up there with NZ beaches ⛱️ 😁
