I am glad you come along with your project. OMG, that was truly awesome! Nice you could get the tank in and gravity fees your leach field. We wound up blasting ledge and setting two tanks one standard septic tank that feeds into a pump tank to pump thr gray water a few hundred meters out (and up) to the leach field. Got to love watching an excavator at work! I raise most of my frame with the help of an excavator. I couldn't find 20 or so Amish guys with pike poles. ;-7

loving Hardcastle Towers, like you we have relocated to the otherside of the country, granted our otherside of the country is is about the same length as some of the house driveways in Canada. Like your build (though smaller in scale) is an old hostoric building (1750) . I thankfully for everyone I wont be making any videos as Me, A Circular saw and bum crack isnt compelling viewing.
I am enjoying this new channel on so many levels! Of course the countryside is gorgeous, particularly to someone from Southern California, but I also enjoy the new cast of characters: polite and friendly Canadians at their very best! It makes me want to visit: seriously! You tell that to whichever Canadian bureaucrat monitors just how “Canadian“ your content is. Meanwhile, I am practicing how to end my sentences with a convincing Canadian “eh. “ Eh?

Love the photography channel, but the hardcastle towers has so much more potential. Keep it up guys, I love it. I just attached a sewer line for my RV in our septic system, it had real poo in it, tough job but it worked and it is so cool to empty into your own septic at home. Keep up the work.
