Kevin C. hi Kevin. i got light blond hair and its a medium length now. long enough for any slick styles on me. you think od look good with my blond hair slickef back or go dark on me for a 50s style on me. let me know what u think.
Is it me or is this no longer considered awkward? I think this is just the beginning of having long hair. The awkward stage is before this when the sides are too short to slick back but too long to ignore.
I'm in 7th month of no trimmering hair at all and sides are the problem for the most time because they wont stay slick to the head and they get too much volume throughout the day, then goes over the years what i hate the most and than the head looks like trombone
@@Illyrian04i usually put some extra pomade in after it dries but then it feels greasy sometimes or like glue or i’ll take a wet brush and comb it back. Then i’ll wake up from sleeping and my hair looks like chucky 😂😂😂

His hair on the sides and back is about 3 inches longer than the actual awkward stage - which is when it's 1.5 to 3 inches on the sides + back, sticks out sideways, and is massively shorter than the hair on top so looks totally unstyled. This model is already at the ideal length sides + back - 5-6 inches!
I’m the opposite. My sides and back are longer than the top because I’m thinning on top. I’m growing mine out but I just wear a hat, people won’t know I’m balding on top 😆
im letting it grow.. im 11 months in.. and it so metimes feels like a curse.. although other times i get a lot of compliments... but when the afro kicks in theres no saving it that day lol

Damn man, I wish I'd found this way earlier! I was growing my hair out last year and hit the awkward stage, and I actually got it cut short again round about the time you uploaded this. I might try growing it again after seeing this
My hair is currently right about in this stage, and I've been looking for something to do with it, so I'm glad I found this video. I'm going to give it a try.
sorry , but i don t think this is the awkward stage man . if you get your hair together you can do a poneytail whitout problems . i think the awkward moment is when its 10-15 cm long
it depends, if you have curly or kinky coily hair, you may never have an awkward stage, i never did, but people with wavy(what most people actually think is curly) or straight hair seem to have more awkward hair
Right now i have the exact same hair like you did in this video. Mayyybe mine's a little longer on the top. I was already doing the slick style, but that 3 parts tip really helped me. I used to pull it back all at once, and in the end parts at the back would start to stick out. Just wanna say thank you, you rock!
This is how I want my hair to look like. Just like this. However, for me, the sides are just too long. I always ask for a double zero shave on the sides and then fade in so it’s a high fade slicked back style. I can’t ever get it like yours, though. It goes to the sides and it ends up looking like it’s parted in the middle. I might have to end up growing it out the same length as yours because the longest I’ve let my hair grown out, was probably 3 inches less than yours. But thank you for the advice. 👌🏻
When you going bald slicking back actually looks nice. This dude is prob 21 I’m 36 and I was flipping it up. Doesn’t work anymore so I grew it out and slick it back get a lot of compliments actually.
