I’d agree with arguments that the long term management of the parliament needs reform. This would only happen if members today did that reform, they own their own rules, they write their own rules. Will they be able to write the rules for the parliaments future? Time will tell

There have been in Australia three excellent Prime Ministers in my lifetime (so far), Paul Keating, Bob Hawk and Julia Gillard. Kevin Rudd had the potential to have been one of the greats, he saved Australia from the GFC
