Great work I’m on a low budget shall I go ahead with the radiomaster tx12 elrs
I originally built a Siren F5 for freestyle, but I'm finding it can be used as a midrange cruiser as well. It's light (107g), has a really long top deck for bigger batteries and supports 5.5" props. With 5524 props and a 3000mah li-ion I can get ~10 minutes of cruising while carrying a gopro 11 mini, which makes it a nice midrange option, and there are a lot of 3d prints out there for it. The main drawback is that it's not a deadcat frame, so you will get props in view (I don't get any frame/standoffs with my camera angle), so if you're looking to ditch your gopro and just use o3, this probably isn't the frame for you.

I suggest to use the balance cable/usb c cable for power on gopro with lipo without internal battery for light gopro!

So then what would u recommend for someone that wants longer range longer flight time? Radio, drone , goggles the whole package. New to fpv not wanting to go broke but not the cheap junk either?
Ties on the antenna should preferably be wrapped with duct tape, they tend to burst, especially in the cold, recently one burst when landing
I think it's good to build some of your first, BECAUSE if you do you can know how it works and have a easier time repairing it. IMHO
Interesting...so you like that controller more than the TBS Tango II ? I still haven't tried that RadioMaster Controller.....and I'll be perfectly honest...I don't feel like I've really found the perfect controller yet. Would love to settle on just 1 for all my quads. Nice video Mike...thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Yes, the tango felt a bit too small at times (like a Playstation controller), and the boxer is a full-sized controller with everything you need, but in a smaller form factor than the TX16S which is super bulky and not ideal to carry around everywhere

2 draw backs to the frame.
I don't like the camera mount for the 03. I expect more from O3 ready and expensive frames. Metal bird cage is a must and no frame in view.
Also the Air Unit has no mount. Again this is a deal breaker for an expensive O3 compatible frame.

Eyewear... I'm coming back after 40 years and what I haven't seen yet are multi input displays. Where is the camera on the headgear and switches to quickly select one of several views? Stereoscopic views yet?

How much cash do you have in the drone and radio?
Using the O3 and crossfire I get "link quality" and "rf signal critical" warnings at not long distances, can you share your settings for the crossfire and O3 please?

Eh, if only you didn't have to state at standoff's while you fly. Camera plates are the way to go.
