After watching so many of your restorations, I am always amazed that you can wash all those screws and bolts in the same container and they still find their way back to their proper place. Even with video to review it is impressive. Cheers from 🇨🇦!!!
piston and cyl will be fine, as long as the chrome finish in the cylinder isnt missing chunks. Ive fixed way way worse of bad scoring in 2 strokes and with some honing and new rings, the engine lasted many hard years later
Excellent work, too bad you don't have all the needed spare parts. I think that the chainsaw engine is the same as in your previous video for the restoration of the Ryobi ESK 3500.
@@gear_show вы за шлифовали задиры на поршне наждачной бумагой, а так зачем вы его вставили его в цилиндр, вставьте это отшлифованый поршень себе в очко

Excellent video. In my experience the crankshaft oil seals should always be replaced when you have the engine apart. That makes a big difference to the running of the motor.
10:50 ну да, шлифовка поршня это прям то, что даст ему лучше работать. На поршне задиры. Держу пари и на цилиндре задиры. Цилиндр нужно расточить, поршень поменять на новый.
Nice to see a properly done saw rebuild. Nearly as I learned at trade school 40 yrs ago. Regardless if the saw had been used much (which it showed little signs of) and/or had been sitting for yrs (ie the spider web) the second thing I had done (after replacing the carb membrane and the plug) would have been to replace the gas pick up filter/weight + the gas line inside the tank. It notoriously clogs up. I'd also checked/cleaned the entire oil line to the sword/chain, and would have split the carb more and checked/changed/cleaned the valves and small internal filters. Finally, I had also taken apart, cleaned and greased the starter's spring coil. The housing always get full of debris and easily stops returning the cord.
Would someone please tell me what happened to the gas tank I didn't even see that come out or go in and what about the oil tank I think I've seen enough of these
how did you find out that the gap was too close and it wasn`t an air leak or any problem with L screw when it was running erratically because I would have never thought of that?

What do you think caused the piston damage? Could it be because someone used straight gasoline instead of mixed fuel?
Yes, It may be like that.
That red thick he put on the end of the bolts when assembling the engine, was it grease or glue for bolts?
@@E-hab Thanks!
Reminds me of pochita 👍
you have far more patience for that than I do. I’d have simply gotten a new one. I’m sure it will work again.
It took me over a month to restore it. Finally it works. Thank you!

At 15:30 what is that yellow hole for? Does it let lubricant out for the chain?
The chain oil from flow from that yellow hole.
6:38 what is that powder you use for cleaning? regular detergent?
It is regular detergent powder.
Would someone please tell me what happened to the gas tank I didn't even see that come out or go in and what about the oil tank I think I've seen enough of these
that is a carb issue so it just needs a carb adjustment.
how can he do that 👍👍👍👍😘😘😘😘

It is makita 7.2V impact driver.
