I have one under my tongue. The pain is so bad. I've been drinking smoothies because it is painful to chew. I called my doctor. She said I would need to see eye/ear/nose specialist. That can take months to get in. I'm trying to find a way to dig it out myself. I've been doing the massage, lemon to create saliva and heat on it.
What happened to you, Annette? Has it been resolved?

I had one in the very back of my throat on the side, not sure which gland it came from. I was able to reach it with a q-tip and put pressure on the low side and as I slid the q-tip up the stone came out. Years ago I had one under my tongue, lemon drops made my neck swell like I swallowed a softball. Gentle but firm massage pushing the swelling from the back toward the front (towards my chin), pushed the stone out.
Likely a tonsil stone
@Buddyrtc I think you're right. I have since learned they happen when I consume milk products, which I now avoid.
@Buddyrtc Just to clarify, the stones in the back of the throat are the tonsil stones caused by milk products.
But the stones that triggered my neck to swell happened while I was pregnant... and consuming tums daily. It was the ER doc who suggested the lemon drops, which caused the massive swelling that I could use to help put pressure on the little salivary stone to come out from a small opening under my tongue. It was literally like a grain of sand, but can cause quite a scary reaction.
Mine just disappeared after a few days. Thank God.

I just noticed I have a little white stone in my saliva gland because it sometimes swells up when I eat food. It's tiny but nothing I try is dislodging it. Should I go to a doctor or is there a way I can remove it without cutting it? Edit: I was able to get tweezers and grab the tip of it and pull the whole thing out. It was actually in there pretty good even though it was super tiny (smaller then a grain or rice). I'm glad that's over with. I hope that was all of it. I guess well see if it swells up next time I eat some delicious food!

@@17-.- Nope. Haven't noticed any signs of problems since.
Just use tweezers. I have done this for 3 years, its not the tweezer and knife part that makes them come back its one of my diseases. I can show you a video when I do it

I had a stone under my tongue that was killing me and it wouldn't come out so I went to an ear nose and throat doctor and he said to give it a week and see if it would come out sucking on sour candy. I had already put up with it for two weeks and I was fed up with it. I just got a scalpel and had my dad grab it with some forceps and make a small incision where it was and it popped right out. There was no bleeding and the pain instantly went away. I was so glad I saved money and didn't have to put up with that painful thing for another week. I still have a large stone in my submanibular gland and it's poking out under my tongue. Should I try breaking it off? What do I do? It's hurting really bad and its not where I could cut it out. I don't have insurance so I can't go to a doctor right now.
how was the healing process? any tips of things i should look out for? i did the same, just cut a small hole about an 1/4 the size of it and pinched in out. not much blood and didnt hurt. just curious as to how the healing went
@@hayden5581 The healing was quick. I still have a little hole there but it didnt give me any trouble at all after I did it. I didnt notice it not healing or anything like that. I still have the submandibular. I have to do something about that soon.
Garrett Johnson mine was just in the gland and got too big i had to remove it. i got a satisfying video out of it😂. its been a day and everything seems fine just cleaning it after i eat just to make sure. will the hole ever go away?

What has worked for me twice is massaging it with my tongue over and over. Also, drink a lot of water.

I think potassium deficiency could play a part.
Severe Dehydration, poor oral hygiene and Calcification (plaque build up etc)

Just like a string with a bunch of tiny little stones attached to it. Didn't know it was there until i pulled it out
My acupuncturist took the completely swelling down. It lasted about a year, then came back.

Appreciate video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Chireetler Calories Enemy Rule (erm, check it on google should be there)? @@tommanzie8555 I pulled it out, but since then I’ve had one more that I couldn’t pull out, so I left it there for about a week until I could pull it out. If you try to pull it out and you hurt your gland and can’t get it out, wait until your gland heals. That’s what I had to do. Good luck lol

I was worried myself but listened carefully to the exact words that she said and so decided to do a bit of searching of what she recommends here in this video and although experiencing a little trepidation, did a little digging on “performing Glans massage” and knowing that I was already well hydrated went ahead with it and to my surprise, It went very well indeed!😊 I’m not sure I find it particularly conservative but I won’t be letting a little miscommunications stop me from enjoying whatever the health benefits of “performing Glans massage” are. Can’t say I remember any solid stone leaving me on completion but it was pretty mild and I’ve managed to find I’m incorporating “perform Glans massage” into my daily routine now without even trying! I've had a salivary gland blockage/stone for 9 months, many rounds of antibiotics and the doctor still hasn't scanned me, nor tried to remove it. I'm in agony I wish it would come out
i think i have opposite thing, i have too much saliva in my parotid gland and it makes my face swollen, idk what to do

It's gonna be painful af if you have a stone so you're gonna want it gone. Plus it's a stone blocking your salivary duct so yes, it has to come out or you'll get an infection.
Does the hole heal up after it comes out
Yeah it also have hole when i removed it is it normal?
My son had a 1cm hole on the bottom of his mouth. It formed a ranula on top (like a bubble) that would drain and refill and then 6-9 months after the stone, the hole was gone on its own.
You can massage them out.
