What people who never played GTA V don't understand is, that GTA titles always have a way of using really good music in the in-game radio stations whenever you drive a car, go into a club, or in your purchased apartment/condo. My favorite Kenny Loggins quote is from GTA. I'd say trust that voice inside your head, the one that speaks to you and tell's you where to go, where your heart should go. It might get you a , it might get you a divorce, it might get you a number one single on the radio, sometimes those 3 things equal the same thing. Of course, if you've got more than one voice inside your head, trust the one that says "I need residential care right now because I'm losing my fuckin' mind"

Yes , Michael was the worldly icon that certainly was the most popular. Kenny defined the 80’s with his style of music . Michael is one of the top 3 or 4 musicians of all time - no doubt . But he didn’t define the 80’s - he was great in the 70’s as well as the 90’s . Kenny defined the 80’s like Hall & Oates . That’s when both these musicians/ groups had there greatest success .
@@hyanhsa78 I know that’s what many ppl say but realistically there were several other 80’s Pop artists that were just as successful as Michael and even more productive. Artists like Prince, Phil Collins, Madonna & Bruce Springsteen. Kenny (although not as big of a star) was really on fire during the 80’s as well.
This still grabs me all these years later. I was 16 when it dropped so I was there. The songs of our youth never really leave us. The second you here one it takes you right back to that place in time. This was his best IMO.
So true! Especially this song, powerful flashbacks to my apartment, job, crazy social life, etc. I was 21, no TV so radio was always on. Much of KL's stuff was overplayed, but my favorites are this and "I believe in Love"

This music video explains why this song was chosen for Grand Theft Auto V. It has cops, beautiful women, and people running from law enforcement. The riot at the end looks like something that happens in GTA Online. The other reason this song was chosen was that it's just great music.
Not only did Rockstar put this song into GTA 5, which makes a high speed chase much better, they also got Kenny Loggins to play HIMSELF as a radio DJ on the station that this song plays on.

This music video is seriously 100 times better than most movies that have come out in the past 10 years.
Nothing like driving full speed at night in the los santos highway while listening to this.
Also the part at 1:18-1:24 is VERY nice👍
So true.
As a metalhead, I love these typical 80’s pop rock songs with this powerful sound and melody that makes you want to headbang, still being an AOR pop song from the 80’s 🤘🏻 🎸 Kenny Loggins is sadly an underrated 80’s rock n roll singer.
A young Virginia Madsen! I loved this video.
Virginia Madsen was so hot, and I didn't know these two things...she's only 5' 4"...and Kenny Loggins is a foot taller at 6' 4".
Michael Madsen's sister!
Virginia Madsen was so damn beautiful! I fell in love with her beauty in "The Prophecy"!
I love this song so much. Man I miss 80s music
Best song on the footloose soundtrack, hands down.
Love the soundtrack ,in my collection
Yea on the way to the dance? Fucking classic
Better than Footloose? 🤔. It’s a damn good song and Kenny has the voice of a god. But come on....
Footloose is great but I gotta agree this is way better

Kenny Loggins is a musical genius!
So many songs, soooo many hits!
This man is a National Treasure and should be celebrated as such!

Running away together in 2020 seems silly, but in the 80's that "us against the world" theme just feels very romantic.
I did that in 2007 right after high school and we are married with two kids i love this song true tribute to love
@@ronisrow9041 omg that is so romantic. I had a really good boyfriend in high school & we even talked about getting married... Looking back now, maybe we should've just done it. I wish you all the best.
awh man you kidding? ive lived in an abusive household all my life and nothing has made me feel more hope than the idea of running away with my boyfriend and making a life for us. maybe im just an old soul, but i always felt a connection to the misfit kids. because frankly, thats what i am. im gay and have a transgender boyfriend. and to a religious family, im about as good as the devil.
but i dont care. i just want us to be happy.
@@bumbabees Im so sorry, that really sucks! But what I nean is, that great feeling you get from the video - that makes you feel like you really could run away, be happy & things would work out - kinda fades when it ends. Things were different in the 80's, I guess... But I dont think I ever had a good enough reason to run, like you. Im too afraid of the unknown: Where would I go, live, job, ect... Too much pressure. But I love the feeling this song & video gives me.
@@bumbabees God loves you no matter what! God doesn't make mistakes! I hope you get out of that abusive household as soon as possible. Life is way too short to be miserable and to be made to feel less than. I wish you and your boyfriend all the happiness in the world! God bless you both 🌻
As a teenager I was sent to a reform school that I escaped from because I couldn't stand to be away from my first love of my life. This video and song remind me so much of that night I got away.
What did you do to get sent to a reform school?

Kenny Loggins has range. He can sing hardcore music and calm loving music.

Kenny Loggins is one of the greatest talents ever...He ruled the 80's with what has become timeless music. The man is a gem

@@tivontownsend6117 Hey Tivon - that’s great to hear . That’s one of the best movies ever and captures how great the 80’s were . Glad you enjoyed it . The soundtrack is one of the best ever .
Kenny Loggins is one of our National Treasures". If we had a knighthood he'd be most deserving of the title ""Sir".
Please, Michael Jackson ruled the 80's.
In the 1980s people wondered what the future looked like.
In 2019 we wonder what the past was like.

+TheGamingBaconator I've noticed that. It's awesome! 😃
And is it just me, or does this sound *exactly* like something Trevor would do?
DJ Loggins even says on the radio something like "A song to feel like escaping prison".
