BOATTEST Celebrates 23 Years!

wow they completely redesigned the buckets for this year, first time seeing them. I bet it handles really well especially in reverse
The only drawback is there is no articulating keel to help with control when there is no thrust from the engines. I guess it can’t have that because the jet nozzles operate independently during the DRIVE X mode to accomplish the lateral and rotational movements of the boat.
It was pretty simple how it handled in tight areas both forward and reverse. After a time or two of getting used to it, it would be like second nature for the operator.
Send in your questions on the 252SD here!
fuel burn at cruise total not per engine
Yes MPG/GPH and range data in the traditional format
Would love to know about the sound in the boat while cruising. My 2016 242 Limited S E-Series was kinda loud when running. Hoping after 8 years maybe this new one would be a bit quieter
any idea the gas consumption vs the older 1.8L
trip dip!!!!
You know it!
Anyone know if the fresh water shower can get hot water and can it be installed on other models ?
Great question will
Get back to you.
Robbie, I don't believe it was hot/cold, I think just "freshwater". I couldn't answer about other models, but I would imagine that it's possible. Probably possible to have a hot water heater as well if you wanted to give up some space elsewhere. This may not be something you want your local dealer doing, at least I wouldn't on my personal boat.
Dang these are so slow now. Had a 2017 AR240 and it ran 56 mph on a bad day.
Dang, my 17 240 only does 50-51 on calm mornings
@@lilwoowoo884 yeah my 2016 Limited S e-Series did 50-51 on a good day. Most I ever saw, w just me in the boat also.
