The interesting part of this is that its a good Video to show procedures but if the screen is not cracked and fails to show its not easy to determine if its the cable or screen. The break down however is rather easy and good example to demonstrate how items are shown and taken apart.
Thanks for making this video, I’ve been looking at this laptop for some light schoolwork but 4gb of ram is just not enough for me and I couldn’t find any diagrams showing if it was soldered or not
Hey thank you for watching! I would first check the specs of this laptop if it supports m.2. After that try it install and check if it is in visible BIOS...
I've opened my laptop up and there is an M.2 drive with a breakout board to the left of where this video shows the battery. They appear to be after-market parts and the space looks like a perfect fit for a standard 2.5 inch drive. I can only see one point for the drive to connect to so I have a feeling that although you could physically fit in a second you wouldn't have anywhere else to connect it. I don't know if you can get breakout boards that allow two M.2s attached via one cable.
@@seancortez7044 Mine has an M.2 SATA with a breakout board but this was second hand and I suspect it was an after-market modification. My 2.5" looks like it would fit almost perfectly, not sure about the thickness of it though.
Bro wtf, u took the back off like its nothing, i unscrewed everyone and still this shit won't come off the damn back, i dont wanna break the damn thing trying to get it off but holy hell, its like the damn thing is bonded to it on a damn cellular level..... 😅😤😓
Well, I might had a used laptop that was opened before and this bottom cover could be used... this way or another way, it could be harder to open laptop that was never opened before. A few plastic pieces might come off, but screws should hold, when put back...

It doesn't have CMOS battery?
Is the space on the left of the battery for a 2.5" SSD/HDD?
Wait... I think it's not thick enough for a 2.5" ...

I had to take a flat-head screwdriver to mine to pry it off :(
It would have been much more useful to me if you had simply identified each item as you removed it. It's still somewhat useful.
Maybe this could help th-cam.com/video/umxZ_nqzxNk/w-d-xo.html
Hi, the model HP 14-CF1061ST , i3 8gen, 8 ram, Can it be expanded to 32 GB?
I would need to rewatch this video to see if memory removable and check the specs.
How many ram slots does this laptop have please?
2
@@marcoghio6553 OK, it seems like the task manager isn't always right about ram slots, mine showed 2 but has only 1
If you are going to make videos like this it would be helpful for you explain what your doing instead of assuming everyone knows
