Just stumbled across your TH-cam and binge watched a bunch of videos tonight! Can’t wait to try your tips! I’d love some videos on vegetable gardening in ground :)
These videos are so great. May I please ask: once you’ve placed the Osmocote, how soon after should you fertilize? Should it be same day when you freshly plant? How often should I fertilize weekly, every 2 weeks? How often should I use the Osmocote? And lastly what about aphids and how to stop them from eating my plants? Thank you so much
Do you ever put gravel at the bottom of the pot to prevent the drainage hole from getting clogged? We have an issue with grass growing in our hanging plants. Would you recommend orthos grass b gone to control grass and weed growth or do you have other suggestions?
Hello! Watching from Alaska! Will the vigor of a supertunia mini vista (ultramarine) be able to keep up with a paradise supertunia vista hanging basket/pot if they are potted together? I want to make a large hanging basket that is both pink and purple. Thanks!
I watched another video tonight and that planted the bubblegum color and that type of petunias. They said 2 plants per 14 inch pots. And now your video says a lot more. I don't know what to do now lol..any advice as what I do?
Thankyou for replying! Omg your plants are BEAUTIFUL! I am in South Dakota part-time and Wyoming part time. Have flowers for both. I just picked some petunias the other day and waiting to plant bc we have a bad cold snap . My question is the plants are nice green but have some very long arms on them (petunias) . Should I cut them back at this point? The long arms and flowers? Or leave them alone? Thankyou
I put 5 in a large, large pot on my porch last summer. At least double the size of the 14 in. They filled that whole container and spilled over the edges. I simply can not imagine wasting money when fewer plants will do the same thing.

Awesome! Thank you!
I’ve noticed different colors grow at different rates!

How many for a 18inch basket. What color combo for a purple theme?
Do you baskets ha e drain holes? How many drain holes?
There are 4 drain holes already in the baskets.

We let the proof speak for itself. Here is our front yard from last year: th-cam.com/video/7nIof3J4NpI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Sharkey%27sGreenhouses

What size are the smaller petunias that you're putting in? 3"?
4" pots.
Should I cut back my petunias when they are first planted, the same as you do for impatiens?
We only do it if needed, but normally we do not cut the petunias.
Thank you!!
I don't understand how you can put 5 supertunias in a 12" pot. 3 is too many for Bubblegum and keep it watered once a day.
how often do you water them when fully filled out, and how long into the season for the average grower do they last?
We do over a thousand 12" hanging baskets like this and they turn out fabulous.
We water usually just once in the morning. Not sure about the average grower but our petunias will survive down to about 26 degrees in the fall.
A lot depends on the weather. I live in the South, and I'd be watering 3 times a day. Up north, maybe they don't have that problem?
I only plant one in a 14 inch pot seems to work fine
If it has rained for days and the planters soil is too wet, can the plants be fertilized by spraying the fertilizer on the leaves?
Just skip the fertilizing until they dry back down to normal and you can get back into a routine with them.
