Hey! I just bought my GSA :) thank you for those videos. Very much informative and motivating to do things with my car by my own. All the best!

I solved the return tube O ring problem with a combination of methods. Originaly I tried the Chevronics' "oil return kit", on it's own, and it didn't work, and then I saw another kit, using another method: a metal bar going through the tube, and grabbing the inner end with a hook, and securing on the outer end with a nut. So I bought a stainless steel M5 threaded rod, with stainless steel nuts, and with the angle grinder I made myself two similar hooks to grab the inside, made an M5 thread hole in them, passed the threaded rod and secured it from both ends. That's for the oil sump side. For the head side, I made two retainers with the angle grinder, which help to retain the Chevronics' oil return kit in place, and used two more viton O rings and a piece of cork rubber with a 22mm hole passing through the metal of the oil return kit, and secured everything in place with two nuts.
Don't know if that makes sence, but it worked, and I'm pretty sure it won't fail any time soon. And it's heat resistant. AND....now that the engine oil leak is done, I discovered that there is actualy a leak from the gear box.
Oh what a beautiful adventure those GSs...😂😂😂

I ground the head back at the return pipe hole just enough to allow the pipe to be withdrawn thru the head

@@Brigidz ...I'm sorry brother but I don't get that. How does that solve the problem of the leaks?

    Dear Reader,
Mr, Citromec has enough knowledge and experience with Citroën's to make longer video's very interesting and informative. Video's with less photo's and more 'moving pictures'.
I certainly would watch those longer video's.
    With Kind Regards,

Hi, I would have like the part when you removed the heads even if it is easier on the BFG1300. I also used the Chevronic aluminium kit and it failed.

The valve seats a bit too wide for my liking...but when you don't have a grinding stone or cutting tool with the right angle, there's little to do..

I never grind the valves. I prefer they get machined with the right angle.

What is the size of the O ring?
