This was my first bike years and years ago. 1500 cash. I later sold and upgraded. Had to come back here to revisit old memories. Thanks for the review!
Working on my 2005 250 silver color Got it about 7 years ago With new tires For 1,500. Haven’t started it in about 2 years Just bought a new Battery and Champion plugs And some Seafoam to hopefully clean the carbs. Wish me luck Starting on it tomorrow morning. Love ❤️ that bike.
i have a ktm 790 duke, a 2022 s1000rr and one of these I am restoring as my first bike I ever had. Got it started today, was going to end up in the trash. These are great bikes man.
great review, fyi- I think it's 29 kw which everybody says is the hp rating but I think the hp rating is about 37-38, it's hight for a 250, even some new 300s are around it.
paid 800 for this one bout 14 years ago. kinda just hung-out for 12 years. just got it running again, now ima chop it up and make it a scrambler kinda deal
just get an adventure style bike, no need for a crotch rocket. I prefer the supermoto handling myself. Way more fun. I just bought a kle 500 and I love it!
Nice bike, I maybe getting one for $600 that needs some reassembly. This video was very helpful in many ways and I'm sure that I will reference it later.
Ohh, I should've known something was up when there is a box with wires strapped under the seat. This video showed me I'm missing that storage compartment tool kit and battery strap. 😃 all for 1.8k with 8k miles. Well, shoot. Didn't know about the helmet lock part though, Thank you! Haha
Great video I have the green and black but had to send it to get motor rebuilt but it had 11,600 but because it is a Kawasaki ninja 250R I would invest any money because I know how reliable they are if you keep up with the maintenance bought it for 500 and getting it fix for 800 so it just like buying one that runs great ..
@@skeesh330 I picked up a used 03 for 800 dollars last yr it had 23k on the ⏰ she was my first bike and I love her deeply lol... I'm 44 yrs old and i soo regret not getting one sooner, For me it doesn't get better than taking corners on my kawi!! Gonna upgrade next yr if the good Lord allows it.
Sweet! How have you liked it?? Got mine for 1k. Needed carbs cleaned, gas tank cleaned and coated though. Runs well and it’s a lot of fun for under $1500
Would you recommend getting a 1990 Kawasaki ninja 250 with 600 miles it looks very good it will need work tho like carbs rebuild and gas tank cleaned. Its listed for $800 I can get it for possibly $700

Love ❤️ that bike.
BTW it had 5000 miles on it when I got it.
thats gonna look killer, id love to see it once its finished
Don't use Champion plugs on these, please
Keep the idle closer to 1500. These bikes are known to get warm at least down here in texas in summer traffic when idled up
Very nice bike. Was looking into one, same year, same color except it has a green seat! 9.4k miles at $1600.

Picked an 07 up for 1000 with 7k original miles garage kept. Needed a new battery and to adjust the idle air flow and it ran like a dream
cant believe you found one with that few miles good find! safe riding!

Good basic review. Thanks

that sounds awesome, glad you got it running again
Got mine for $200! Runs great!
200!? I'm about to get a broken one from a family member as a project bike for the same price. That's crazy.
Have a 250 and it has treated me well. Looking to upgrade to a 600 this summer for a trip to vegas
just upgraded to a 650 and im very happy with it

nice video, best one I've seen yet on the 250
thank you a ton!
It is a great video, but I think the "Citizen Kane" of Ninja 250 videos is the one from Regular Car Guy: th-cam.com/video/MsX2rIZory0/w-d-xo.html
guys I'm 5'11 380 pounds and this thing dose 80-90 on the highway easy I'm loving this bike
Very informative. Thanks for your time.

thanks for watching! I'm glad I was able to help. Safe riding!
I went ahead and bought it. Super pleased with it so far. I need a few odds and ends and it will be ready to ride. Same color scheme as yours too.
You mentioned the helmet lock...I haven't been able to use that, because it has my helmet resting on the really hot exhaust pipe.
yeah placement for the lock is pretty inconvenient
Hi, just got a 94 plate. Lovely machine. Forgiving to.G uk
They call it the gpx in Australia, I just got one today.
Weirdest in I’m in Australia as well and I just bought one too

1.8K with 8K miles and no toolkit? Ooof.
Is it water coled?
I do not believe so
Yes it is a liquid cooled parallel twin cylinder
I have one and I love it
GamerGuy 4263 absolutely amazing bike. Had it for almost two years now and had zero problems with it.

Carbine Joey always loved Kawasaki. Had my 250 for two years with zero problems and my 650 now is just as amazing.
I had the same one then I upgraded to a 636 ninja
also looking to upgrade to a 636 in the future or an r6. Currently have a 650 ninja and I do still love it.
My local dealer has one that looks just like this one for $1,875 it is has 10,696 miles on it. Gonna make an offer for it.
Matt Simonds that’s not too bad, I paid $1650 for mine with 6000 miles but it’s a damn good bike and I’d make that offer for it

id question why a 1990 only has 600 miles
do you still have the bike? i have a 600 but wanted to buy something small for around town
Lance Liu I still do, had it for a little over two years now. I plan on getting a 600 but honesty I think that’s fine for a riding around town bike.
in 2021 found a used 05 with 800 miles they want $2800.Talk about inflation!!
oof i get the low miles but wow is that expensive
Ninja 250r only sytatik oil chnge filter&lube Dr chain. It go well.economy.
OK, you don't actually mean "brand new," but you mean a 2005 in excellent condition, right?
Bruhda Martinasty good to excellent condition
that idle is WAY too high!
