    This is yet another excellent review. As someone familiar with both the previous version and the Transit Workpack Pro, I really appreciated the side-by-side comparisons and found them to be extremely helpful! Thank you for the high-quality video!

    Amazing review. Your time to compare V1, Pro, and V2 gave it the edge we needed. Thank you!

    I have the previous version and almost all the reasons why I got that bag have been removed. I use public transport and don’t like external water bottle holders, specially why I don’t have any attachment points to hold it. I love the top pocket and use it a lot, as well as the other side pocket which I use for quick access. And it also has a small pocket in the front compartment, which you didn’t show so I guess it was removed. On the plus side the 20L I guess are now real because nothing eats into it. But I won’t be upgrading. The biggest flaw of the first version is the straps, that they don’t hold well in position, specially when you sling it, so I guess instead of fixing the straps the removed pockets so you don’t sling it as much 😂 for me this is overall a downgrade

      They introduced the more expensive pro and then gave you a reason to upgrade xd

      The Pro is weird too though because they took the main compartment stretch mesh away and took the slip pockets away in favour of compression straps. Who wants compression straps on a work backpack?

    • @OndaPiloto
      @OndaPiloto หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aramyth exactly what I thought when I saw the pro, really weird decisions, time will tell. I am keeping my v1, the closest thing would be the pro, which now costs here +30€ wrt the v1 original price, on the other hand the v2 is -25€ with reduced features… the winner is the v1 at the current discounted price (-45€) until stock runs out imo.

      Cannot agree more - dealbreaker for me with 1) no small pocket in the front compartment, 2) no top quick access compartment which are 2 of my MOST appreciate designs in the first edition. If they added the luggage pass through to the first edition it would have been THE perfect backpack for me. Bit disappointed with this second edition. Thx for the detailed reviews as always tho!!

    Another amazing review and comparison video! If you had to use one as your EDC, would you pick the Tranist Workpack v2 or Transit Workpack Pro? I like the Pro more but really want the Nightsky color that's offered in the Workpack v2.

    What is Bellroy thinking with this “update”? I can get behind the external water bottle pocket but why get rid of the other side and top pocket? Plus no sternum strap? C’mon man.
    Also why wouldn’t I want the better harness system from the Pro? These design decisions make no sense.

      I have the same feeling. Bellroy is (or has already been) like those brands that add one function to a bag but keep another. The problem of these brands is that they always make, according to some people, "nearly perfect" bags but never "perfect" bags-I think they know how to make them, but they just don't want to.

    Hey Danny, thanks for the awesome review!
    Which one of these 3 bags would you personally prefer for a heavier EDC loadout?
    1) Transit Workpack 2nd Edition (20L)
    2) Transit Workpack Pro (22L/28L)
    3) Able Carry Max EDC (26L)

    Hi Danny, could you help me? Which do you consider better, Fjallraven Skule or North Face Borealis?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for watching! I find the harness on the borealis more comfortable and it has better laptop protection but the skule will be lighter and has a simpler layout if you don’t like having extra organization

    Does this upgrade not only increase the back panel padding but also improve the V2's overall sturdiness and structure compared to the V1, even when it’s empty or no laptop inside of it? It was hard to see in the review. Thanks!

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you for watching! The back panel definitely feels sturdier which helps the structure but the rest of the bag feels similar, so the fabric and front of the bag don’t feel too different

    Other than bellroy's compact tech kit, do you have any recommendations for smaller tech pouch that will fit on the small pocket on the laptop compartment?

    • @dannypacks

    What will fit 17 inch laptop? Original Transit Workpack is 1 cm short in height. Plz sggest, I can see that Second edition is 2 cm taller?

    I also don't like the new colours.
    Bellroy has always been THE company that had such nice colours, outside and especially inside the bags. The new bags have boring colors, the beautiful ranger green is gone with the new version. They kept the burned orange, but I liked the ranger green much better.
    In your video you show the beautiful blue of insides of the older bag and the boring colour of the new bag. At least it is a warm cream and not the depressing cold gray most companies seem to use.

    Hello Danny Packs hello everyone ı want to buy transit workpack but where ı live there is no chance to see it so ıf you help ı will appreciate it , I have 2 questions; is the second edition more wider 6 cm than first one, is that true ? Unfortunately I havent seen transit workpack yet, it seems more than 20 litres, ı have evergoods cpl 16 and I am sure that the volume difference of the 2 bags is not 4 litres :))) what do you think about the volume of transit workpack ? Thanks

    Go home Bellroy, you’re drunk.
    The division of their most popular bag into two separate bags makes no sense. Hopefully, they will just release a V3 and ditch the Pro.

    • @johnr7343

    Bellroy seem to be unwilling to add features without removing other features or withholding them to a “pro” version (which isn’t even feature packed compared to other brands). Every backpack of theirs seems to be missing some feature like top pocket or water bottle pocket or sternum strap.

    For me V2 is downgrade. I loved my V1 version but it was stollen. And what we got in V2 version? No hidden side pockets. No sunglasses pocket at the top. Instead of it they give us water bottle pocket and luggage strap? Fortunately they still sell V1 version and it's also cheaper.

    • @dannypacks

      Thank you for watching and I’m sorry to hear the bag was stolen :( agree it’s great the v1 version is still available and at that price
