Great comparison between the Lite 30L and the transit backpack pro 28L. Was thinking of picking up either of them but not sure which. I don’t need a dedicated laptop compartment and need something lightweight for a weekend. I think the Lite is a winner for me.
Adding to clarkedc7822's comments above... would love to see actually measured pack dimensions, volume and weight as a matter of course. For volume, it's pretty straightforward to first stuff with small styrofoam peanuts to reasonably full - then pour into a volume-marked container. Thanks!
I can’t believe that depth dimension of 4.7”. Is that accurate? Do you measure the bags you review when reasonably full (as shown) to validate the dimensions these brands state or do you say paste what is listed online?
where do you store the Lite Bag? I was thinking to just keep it lightly packed (ipad and a few necessities for the flight) in between the 2 main compartment zips so i could easily take it out when boarding
@@bloo_110 The idea came from the from Aaron @ Nomads Nation's review of the "lite daypack", where he rolls the "daypack" and made me think you can put the small bag in the front pocket. In Chase Reeves' review of the "travel pack lite" he put in back of the Travel Lite, which is also an alternative. I like the idea that before your flight you can unrolling the bag and put the laptop for example.
@@marcelogarcia5539 yeah I saw Chase’s review, it made me think to store a daypack like the lite or Aer go 2 in between the zips once the inside compartment is packed out. that way i wouldn’t have to pull the daypack out from underneath all my stuff packed on top like how Chase did it, meaning it could be easy to take the pack out as my personal item for the flight. either way i think this bag is almost perfect, just missing a water bottle pocket!!
They all look so stylish, thoughtful layout and lightweight materials, but it's the lack of a water bottle holder that is a no go for me personally.
Just put it inside

To add... some manufacturers can be "optimistic" with their specs!

Very good video. Good comparison. I just bought the 38L because you can squeeze a Lite Daypack inside it, and have two bags system like pakt.
