    Thanks for this clear presentation of how the game plays.I have played a few solo games of this and love the dramatic events it creates when damage is caused. A long video but it shows how a whole game flows and creates a narrative story.

    This looks more like what I'm chasing for a WW2 game, less emphasis on aircraft paper stats, more on formations and the role of aces. Think you have a convert! Thank you for the great playthrough.

    I’ve had Bag the Hun for years but an unexpected gift of 1/300 models has prompted me to start playing and this video was very helpful, thank you. A question; what height are your pegs and how big are the hexes on your map? Ah just seen you’ve previously said the mat I’d 1” hexes. Just the peg height then please?

    Please... I need to ask you what kind of squares is the best or the ideal one for World War II air combat games... hexagonal, square, rhomboid, etc... ? thank you very much.

    Absolutely loved this video! Please do more battle reports and learning games! I’ve stayed away from the lardies as I was leery on the cards. After watching this video I’ve now dig out all my 1/300th planes (bucket loads) and bought the PDF 🍻🍻🍻 how big is your hex mat and where did you get it? Looks great!

      Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video and there are more coming. Stay tuned. The hex mat is from Deepcut Studios, but loads of people make them and it's 6ft by 4ft

    First time I have see this game….very interesting. Where did you get the hex mat and the planes/stands?

    • @StormofSteelWargaming
      @StormofSteelWargaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a great game. the Hex mat came from deep Cut studios, although anyone who sells gaming mats will probably sell them. The stands I made myself from clear acrylic hexagon pieces and rods, with magnets attached to the top.

      @@kaizimmer417 cheers, the hexes are 1 inch and I got the mat printed from Deepcut Studios where you can get the hex overlaid onto any of their mats. This one is the aerial mat.

    Looks good, how would you compare it to Wings of War/Glory? Is it distinct enough to have both? The damage element sounds good.

    • @StormofSteelWargaming
      @StormofSteelWargaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks. It's very different. Wings of War is a great game, but is a little vanilla compared to BtH, I've not played the WW2 version of WoW, though. BtH has much more thought put into the pilot's skills and how they react in combat, rather than the slightly mechanical aspect of WoW. The damage is a good component of the game, rather than having hit points it means that even lucky shots can take down the best.
