The mat makes it look like it's happening above a real landscape. Could the general view image be zoomed in a bit more, to cover the middle, where the planes are? It's a good example game and gives a feel for the different mechanics. Seem to be plenty of surprises.
I could zoom in, but the camera is at a high angle so it's difficult to see both the view and the live feed at the same time... I am going to make a proper BTH video maybe this weekend, which will have close ups. This was an experiment and I'm not sure it worked perfectly for this game really, I need to do something with more 'things' on the tabletop really.
@@StormofSteelWargaming It was a good demo game though as it showed the movement and fire rules clearly, as well as the pilot types; enough info to decide whether to buy the game or not, which is very useful.
Thanks for running this game. I have had an interest in BTH for awhile; but, haven’t been able to find any runthrough videos to see how it plays. It seems to have a lot of similarities to I Ain’t Been Shot Mum. Is this just set in the European theater; or, are there stats for Japanese planes as well? I have quite a few Pacific theater 1/300 NavWar planes; however, none for Europe.
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it. I am going to make some better videos of BTH in the future, as I'm not sure it suits a live stream, with the aircraft being quite small... Yes, it was written around the same time as IABSM, so there is quite a bit of cross-over. The rules have lists covering the entire war and for the majority of the armies, including Japanese (I have some Zeroes and Oscars myself...). The only supplements cover the Battle of Britain, but there are plenty of far East scenarios in the Lardy specials.

"They will have names" - in the spirit of the lardies I shall anticipate Leutnant Hans Neesundbumpsadaisy making an appearance.
I was laid awake last trying to make a silly name out of Hands & Knees... I think you've just solved it...
