Yes! I have that issue with my Clara. Scratch! It's an occasional need for correction verbally. Then she'll give up. She has now mostly learned to not paw at my leg. I say "Ouch!" And I don't give her what she wants. I praise her for acceptable behavior. But then I do exercise her as soon as I can. They have a lot of energy to burn. Her favorite is the dog park!

I noticed that he yawned when he came back after pawing the sofa. My Basenji girl, Sarah, would yawn when she had anxiety.
that is just him being bored 😄
My basenji does something similar when he is frustrated with me and wants attention.
