Hello Ma'am, I'm looking forward to your next film, I see how much heart and work you put into it, I know from my own experience how much patience it costs me with Hugo (he's the only one who's smart, but he's a flax) but I'm not going any further, it's a good lesson you showed today, I'm sure I'll apply it to Hugo's lazy days as well .Kind regards 😊
Your explanation in the beginning was spot on. It's very rare my B will chase anything unless he's fixated on it, and even then, if I throw it more than a few meters away from him, he just looks at me like I'm the idiot lol. He'll bring back a toy once or twice if he want's to play tug with it. Otherwise he'll watch it with mild disinterest until it stops moving and then run back without it to play with me instead. I haven't trained fetch at all though. Something I do need to work on is "Stop" and "Off" though. He's usually gotta be told 6 times before he'll listen. ha ha
This channel is useful for me because my dog is a mutt but has a very high "wolfiness" score (aka high primitive dog genetics) so is very similar to your Basenjis. I like that you have so much fun while training. Also, were you ever gymnast? If not, you would probably have been a good one. You have the right body type to be a good gymnast
Hello ! I have been watching your videos for 6+ months now and we adopted a pure bred basenji. Your videos inspired us to create the same “basenji room” and use different types of games you demonstrated. We are not experienced and that’s why we need your help! How can I contact you ? We are having issues with crate training and sleeping all night. We have a 20 week old basenji. Hope to hear from you.
hi! thank you for your feedback and congratulations on getting a basenji puppy! that is a very exciting but also stressful time. you can absolutely reach me via messenger m.me/lana.belakhov and I will be happy to help if I can.
