06:14 - jbl flip 6 have too charging led line
These Adams look perfect for my needs. For studio engineer but now do video editing and need good sounding speakers for mixing the video audio. I remember a pair of Adams sounding legit.
Bought a kanto after watching this. Much thanks from korea!
why cant we have many people like this dude breaks down each and have it listed the time of the video in the description
I didn't see OONTZ ULTRA
Swan OS-10 at $234 or Kanto ORAs at $399 - are the ORAs worth the extra?
No Tannoy? Only one dual concentric represented?
Ora4 definitely for desktop 💯

wish you would do an actual sound test with these speakers so we know what they sound like
are you familiar with the Edifier M60?
Even though you dislike soundbars....which soundbar would you get for your B4 if you had to choose a soundbar (price being included in your decision).
I bought the JBL Flip 6 - unfortunately the usb c connector in the back is quite flimsy and developed a fracture within a few months. I contacted JBL about it and they declined to help or do anything even thought I bought the device from new and it was still in warranty. So beware - these big name brands doesn’t automatically equal adequate support. I have had a Bose Soundlink Mini for about 10 years and it’s never gone wrong and sounds great for in doors. I can fully recommend this device. I imagine the soundlink max sounds even better being a bit bigger.
I keep seeing the Edifier M60's and still havent pulled the trigger on the Kanto ORA. If you get a chance to get your hands on these, I would love a comparison.
I have the M60s here, I just have not had time to try them yet. Will try to get that video out in the next month or so. Sadly my day job takes most of my attention ☹️
How are you going to claim that you're not an audiophile?😂
lol. I’m just a guy who likes good sounding speakers 🤷 that term audiophile can just be so loaded
Eggel fit 3??
If I wanted to buy the Swan OS-10 that I've also heard so much about, would I actually need a subwoofer for desk use, or should I either try to split the low-end and run it through a subwoofer or just get other speakers that may have a subwoofer port?
Sony xb43 4life
Heyy man i just wanted to personally, thank you. I have watched a lot of your video trying to make a decision on buying a speaker. And I made the decision with this one for Ora 4, and they are fantastic! I really appreciate the way you do your reviews and how you try your best to give accurate description, such as mentioning the Ora 4 are more bassy, and that was absolutely on point!
So glad you found my videos to be helpful :)
I was literally considering these exact speakers! Thank you for making such a good comparison
Glad you found it to be helpful!
A good sub make the bass fuller, not necessary louder.
How do these compare to the KEF LFX II
Fantastic in-depth review, thanks for this. I have now subscribed.
No Adam ?
Nice video
Can you do a comparison between the jbl 4329p vs. KEF LS50, thanks!
The Tannoy gold 8s really make everything sound live and detailed like nothing I have ever had, well next to the Lancaster cabinets that house my Tannoy 15 golds from the 60s, Paired with a REL 10 subit is really clean and full
I bought the Kef LSX ii LT based off your review and I gotta say I LOVE these speakers!!! underrated channel bro, wishing you nothing but the best!
Great video. I’ve owned Bose, JBL and Soundcore speakers. In my experience Bose has always had a pleasant well balanced sound and WAS worth the price tag. However, JBL has been making a statement lately and adding more balance to their boom. I agree that the JBL Boombox 3 is a beast and one of the best sounding speakers and when comparing the price point against Bose, JBL gives you more bang for your buck and takes the cake, especially in a party or large crowd scenario. The Charge 5 instantly became my favorite portable. If you’re in a tight budget, Soundcore is a descent option if you want something quick but, it’s worth saving up for something in the late JBL series. You can go Bose if you’d like and you won’t be disappointed but, I feel you’ll be more than satisfied getting a booming JBL at a lesser price tag.
We also need an Ultra Wide monitors video.
thanks jasper, bought the ren 3 days ago. this is first time I have a decent speakers, it is mind blowing lol
Thanks for this video. Seeing the Kanto size differences was useful. I ended up getting the ORAs in a sale and am very happy with them :)
Just a correction subwoofer out is a consumer feature. With studio monitors the inputs are recieved from the subwoofer. You dont need a SW out
I have the Edifier R1280T and they suck. Even the pebbles sound better than them for a fraction of the price.
How comes there are no tribit speakers?
What stands does the ren come in
Hey Jasper I'm really torn. I literally have just under 5" of shelf space to hold speakers. They could float off the shelf a little bit if I got a smaller stand then the speaker before I run up against my PC. My speakers would be a few inches off the wall on one side and a window on the other side of my 32" monitor in a 10'x13" room. Listening would pretty much be near field only. I may be moving into an appartment/townhouse in the near future so to much bass could be an issue. I dont really listen to any rap/hip-hop but want a good full range of sound. My only experience with speakers is a PC set of Harmon Kardon 20+ years ago, then some old Logitech 2.1 and finally I inherited a Bose Companion 3 Series 2 (itty bitty 2 inch drives and a 5.5inch sub), these sound alright to me but they are old and starting to crap out, I think the sub might even be broken. The other day for comparison I tested them againt a Creative Stage soundbar and my Bose still sounded way better. So needless to say, I need to upgrade. My PC or TV setup have all the latest connection options including optical. For size I'm torn between the Vanatoo TOs+, the Kanto Ora4 and the Kanto Ora Original, I'd like the option to add a sub if only just to be able to turn the bass down if it is too much. I like the Edifiers for price r1280DBs but they are a smidge to big without adding a shelf on top of my shelf to extend it. The Vanatoo and the Ora4 have 24bit and aluminum woofers where the Ora Original is 16bit paper woofers (I saw a review that said paper sounded nicer than aluminumn). I'm no audiofile, I just want something that sounds better than the Bose with no static or tin can sound. In $CAD Vanatoo is $575 (best looking/wood/grill/silver, all the bells and whistles), Ora4 is $500, Ora Original is $400 (perfect size), Edifier is $200 plus a shelf extension, Swan OS-10 is $250 (but no sub connection). I haven't heard any of these speakers IRL, have you ever heard the small Bose speakers? Please help me decide. Is the Edifier craze just hype? Is the 16bit Ora good enough? There are very few reviews of Kanto on Amazon and Vanatoo I would have to order from their site, probably in the US. Thanks for your help. Oops forgot to mention, for music mainly, gaming and movies but I also have headsets, but for music I like to be free and turn it up and sing! No content creation or studio monitor stuff required. Also considering the Kanto Sub6 over the Sub8 for size reasons. Thanks for your help. One more thing, woukd the ora4 fit on the stands meant for the smaller Ora, that way the stand would still fit on my shelf with the speaker floating off the edge.
Thank you, Jasper.
Двухполосная система: мидбас и твитер - это конечно простое решение с точки зрения затрат. Но когда используется Трехполосная система: басовый драйвер, среднечастотный (мидл) и твитер - с точки зрения правильности и естественности звучания, это самая верная в звучании система. Проверьте свой слух на фортепьяно на высокой тональности, вы услышите неестественный, звенящий звук, но когда будет правильно работать система разделения по полосам и драйверам (трехполосная) вы услышите верную тональность на частотах от 2х до 4кГц. The two-way system: midbass and tweeter is of course a simple solution in terms of costs. But when a three-band system is used: a bass driver, a midrange (midrange) and a tweeter - from the point of view of correctness and naturalness of sound, this is the most accurate sounding system. Test your hearing on a piano in a high key, you will hear an unnatural, ringing sound, but when the band separation and driver system (three-band) is working correctly, you will hear the correct key at frequencies from 2x to 4kHz.
I have the Vanatoos as computer speakers, but got them on sale for like $325. I've been thinking about selling them just to try something new and hopefully better. How would you say the D3Vs compare in base, mid-range, treble and sound stage? Thanks!
I bought two of the Anker Motion Boom speakers last year , still going strong , 😊Anker is a great company
Genelacs?!!
I'm looking for something to replace my laptop speakers but also something i could connect to my LG Smart TV to give some boost in the sound while watching movies. Are the Creative Gigaworks t40 any good for this purpose or is this mainly for PC audio?
Any comparison w/ the unit 4s by aiaiai
Dont u recommend Tribit speakers?
I would like to see the new Edifier Evo Nano wireless speaker
Jasper, nice video.... Can you do a gaming monitor video please.... I've got a monitor which I'm using but I want to get a new one and obviously I do gaming and I do reuse for tech here's my channel (DJCamster) ... But keep on doing what you're doing 👊🏿...
Hi, what would you pick and why between the edifier mr4 and the edifier R1280T and why? (I don't know anything about speakers, I'm currently using a jbl flip 5 for my pc but wanted to upgrade the audio experience)
I'm using Ruark Audio MR1 Mk2s - very happy with the quality. I have a ifi Zen DAC connected to them with the laptop connected via USB and a vinyl turntable connected via Bluetooth.
What’s your opinion on the Triangle Borea BR03 BT?
I have never tried them, but I have heard good things!
Why is there no HONEY link for these speakers?
Honey link? I don't understand?
