My favorite part of the whole episode was when she turns to look at him in the rain, and you see she's barely keeping her bottom lip from quivering, and tears are streaming down her face.
It really drives home how heartbroken she was at her realization that Loid genuinely cares about Yor and Anya. Just a fantastic scene.

I'm not gonna say much bc obviously AOT manga spoilers, but if you know, you know.
I like about Fiona is everytime she thinks that she _wants_ to separate Loid and Yor but she make them more close and always end up with Loid and Yor moments. It's sad but _funny_

The penguin getting shot on the tv caught me hella off guard lmao that shit was so loud through the tv and Anya and Bonds reaction did me in, that was too funny.
😅 the coffee is not trash, Yor is quite good making coffee tea cocoa. It’s just that Twilight got ulcers due to stress and over work. He puts milk to lessen the damage to his stomach.
Actually in the manga Loid even said he should probably ask Yor to switch him to decaf…it’s cute, since it shows they talk about this things like a normal married couple.

Yeah I felt bad for Nightfall, she developed feelings for Loidy naturally over spending time with him, but he was too focused on missions for her to do anything, and now because of this mission he seems to truly enjoy his fake family and is starting to care for them as such, which makes her feel like she lost her chance that she never really had. I always feel sad when you see characters who truly care about someone but they are the ones that need to sacrifice their feelings so that the people they care about are happy, it’s not fair to them and it just makes you want them to find happiness so that they aren’t so sad
The reason Fiona couldn't confess already was because spies can't love, can't show their true emotions, can't have family, not until the war ends. Loid found the best job that he created a wholesome family, he didn't do it because he wanted a family but in time it turned into a care. Something he would want to experience deep down. After knowing Loid created a family even in the purpose of spy things, Fiona wanted to be part of it but it was already done. Sadly, she had no chance. This is the sorrow of being a spy.

I love that Loid memorized the lines from Anya's favourite show and is using that to make her happy, it shows he's really grown to care for her, even if he won't admit it.

Between being the best spy, pretending to be a doctor, doing side missions besides his main one, raising a child and being a husband, and eating Yor's cooking, it's no wonder he has stomach problems. Wouldn't be surprised if he started to get out of shape towards the end

The problem with "Nightfall," besides her thoughts on Yor and Anya, is that she only thinks of Operation Strix as "just another mission," one she thinks should have been over with long along. She wants to get it over with so she can "get her 'Twilight' back." (Only he was never hers to begin with.)
Also, "Twilight" taught her to hide her feelings and bury her emotions, the same thing he was taught, but she did/does TOO GOOD a job at it while he recently started failing at it (but only when it come to Anya, Bond and Yor).
She learned from the best, now he's failing. And, she envy that he can slip over his emotions, she would want to show him her feelings too. As a spy, she cannot, not the love.
I loved how Anya was ready to go into battle mode against bond. This really is how a kid would act, you could buy them the exact same toy as the one that broke but they form sentimental attachments. This one was sweet because the fact it meant a lot because it was a gift from the aquarium visit.

Would've been heartwrenching if Fiona thought "You were the one that taught me to never show emotions and yet here you are, infront of me, doing the exact opposite, and I wasn't the one to receive it. They really did justice to Anya's reaction to Nightfall's thoughts in the anime. In the manga I remember laughing my ass off at that part.

Crazy that "Fiona"/"Nightfall" realize the very thing that "Loid"/"Twilight" himself hasn't yet done (or refuse to)..... that he getting attached, and even started to actually care about this "pretend" family.
Also, both stories were about jealousy. "Nightfall" jealous of Yor (and vice versa), and Bond jealous of Agent Penguin.

It's not just amazing that Anya knew what episode the Bondman-quote was from, but rather that Loid mentioned it in the first place. It shows that he about Anya so much that he watches and memorises that show.

My favorite episode so far, Nightfall is my second favorite character in the show & the scene where she's able to see through the fake smile to Loid's genuine care for his new family is so well done and heartbreaking. I like how both the funny side plot snd the serious one touched on the them of Jealousy, great choice by the staff

People keep misinterpreting the coffee being bad. They established at beginning of series that hot beverages are one of Yoru few domestic skills. Loid has stress induced stomach problems, hence wanting to switch to non-caffineted drinks.
i honestly don't feel bad cuz she was bringing yor down lying about how loid complains about her at work and she was clearly affected by this not to mention she already had doubts her being anyas mother, i get it she loves loid but she can do that without tearing yor down
She is the apprentice of the best spy. She uses best way to make her leave him. Not only because she loves him but she thinks she is the best possible mom for the mission as well. In the first episode we saw Loid broke up with a woman too. The reason Loid is getting attached to Anya and Yor is that it is giving him a well developed family feelings and it changes him. In the raining scene Fiona even said that family play was changing him. She lived her life always suppressing her feelings, couldn't show the emotions she felt for Loid. You shouldn't be so harsh to her.

She interfering with the mission, which her boss - Sylvia clearly tell her not to do, but she still went our of her way to do it. And the consequences of her action could greatly effect operation Strix. She don't want Loid to get attached to yor and anya but she doing the same by actively trying to break their family apart. She a grown woman, she should have know better. I felt bad for her too, but no one should trying to defend her action here (sorry if i came off as too aggressive)

I see a lot of people misunderstanding that little scene being about Yor’s coffee being bad. The stress of the mission and being overworked is causing Loid to have stomach problems. Black coffee can upset a sensitive stomach because of the acidity and caffeine. That’s why he adds milk to counter the acid and wonders if he should ask Yor for decaf.
I used to have a dog like Bond where if she did something wrong and got caught she'd act so depressed and go out of her way to apologize or sulk. I miss that big goofy dog.
Even if Loid and Yor put a new penguin, Anya could easily tell they bought a replacement

Actually... the milk in coffee is about gastric acid. I myself has this, and coffee is acid enough to make gastritic peeps taste horibble pain in the ucler. Milk in coffee does help.

"Loid" is clueless about how people (that are not his enemies) feel beyond friendship and parent-to-child love.

man, Spy x Family always makes me tear up and cry like a baby with each episode for how wholesome and sentimental it is. I think it's because in part this is the family I kinda wish for me.
Fiona takes show no emotion so seriously because it was the first thing Loid taught her about being a spy
