    100% honesty here: best car review ever. I've seen Doug Demouro, Raitis Rides, Sofyan Bey, etc. You killed it man and you deserve way more views and likes.
    Kudos to you and to Acura for not making yet another boring Black, White, or Grey automobile with a Black interior. COLOR!! FINALLY!!!!

    I always have to say one thing in this review: I consider as an Acura fan of their products especially this one. Also I totally love the paint job on this amazing sedan. Also this will be my top pick over it's competition, Because I want to drive this sedan so bad & I will show it to my friends & family as well. Overall incredible job & review / test drive bro.

      Only one that's giving me pause before purchasing this is the Genesis G70 Prestige (4 cyl). Slightly cheaper, similarly beautiful (subjective), and potentially better performance. Both are outstanding and I'm having trouble deciding! Can't wait to test drive both.

      @@dansourile5444 I can vouch for the g70. I purchased a used 2019 3.3t fully loaded for the price of a new Acura tlx a spec. I test drove both and I really loved the interior of the Acura, but the power and driving experience of the g70 was too much to pass up for the comparable price imo.

      @@lanecox197 and unfortunately the 2023 G70 jacked the price up several thousand. :( The top 3.3T is now like $4k higher than the 2022 was. Ugh. I think I'm gonna get the TLX A-Spec. I drove the G70 2.0T and the TLX A-Spec. Both were nice (I'm sure 3.3T is a beast), but I'm gonna lean Acura here for the 2.0T models. :) Enjoy that G70! Which color did you go with?

    Great review. Great details. I just bought a 2023 TLX A-spec SH-AWD (Apex blue with Ebony interior). I drove a new Accord Hybrid Sport a few days ago (couldn't find a Touring to drive within 100 miles of my house). I was a little disappointed that they don't go ahead and keep Acura ahead of Honda in every way. For example, why does the 23 Accord have wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto but the 23 TLX A-spec doesn't? I also wish that the 360 degree view cameras and heads up display were available on the A-spec model... other than those few things I mentioned, the car is near perfect for me.

      The Wired CarPlay is pretty much a dealbreaker for me (almost just based on principle) and for some reason almost none of the cars in this sector have it until 2024 - if at all!

    Nice review! Picked up the all black version FWD with red interior a couple of weeks ago. Awesome car so far. It's an interestingly fun car to drive. Never thought a turbo 4 would not make me miss the j35 V6 I had in the last TLX.

      How is it pulling into highway traffic?

    • @TheRage191
      @TheRage191 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ok the turbo makes nice noises if you know how to work it but I severely miss my v6 tlx it sounded so much better and pulled way harder

    • @drivecfl
      @drivecfl 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheRage191 do you have SHAWD? I have the FWD and the pull is actually better than my previous TLX V6 Tech. The torque and the 10 speed auto are a good match. Also the merging is good on highway. Also at highway speed it's very responsive. You can be doing 70 and so quickly you look at it says 86 87 and it's like oops. I had a GTI guy the other day going up an entrance ramp the the other day. He gave it throttle I wasn't expecting it. I was like half throttle driving normally. He of course passed me and probably felt great about himself. I did speed up to his tail on the ramp and I think he probably thought he was going to dust me. Oh no, it's not a race car but it's also no slouch. I wish I had given it more throttle when he was coming along side of me but these days you don't know if someone is going to get rage so it's not worth it. Also I'm not a spring chicken anymore but having just fun for yourself enjoying the car is what matters.

      @TheRage191 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@drivecfl yea I was going to get sw awd but my payment would of been higher. I'm looking into getting a high performance air filter from prl motor sports. The car is just to quiet for me I need to hear some noise

    • @drivecfl
      @drivecfl 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheRage191 I think in sport mode it makes a decent interior sound that's piped in. Also don't know if you noticed the low hum when it's in low gear especially when it's cold? It's funny the outside sounds of a car will soon become less of a thing with electric cars. Probably in the future when there are still a few gas engine cars around that are loud people are going to frown because it will be the less common thing. 😂

    I drove a 2023 Type S over the weekend. Not a fan of that 2.4 L turbo particularly in sport mode. If Acura wants it to sound like a V6, please do not pump that offensive artificial exhaust sound into the cabin. Just make the Type S standard with the V6 turbo. And leave the regular TLX with a naturally aspirated V6.
