Thanks again for taking car of my PIGs power problem! These things are soo dang sensitive to not having the correct battery in them. Back story for anyone wondering, this Cayenne was having issues with cold starting (super slow to no crank) as well as random suspension faults and other strange gremlins. Battery in it tested as good, but we noticed it was the wrong spec for the build. This Cayenne called for the larger H9 battery with 110 Ah Vs the H8 battery that was in it. Gobs of stupidity was solved just by putting the correct battery in it. TLDR - Porsche electronics are super picky.
have a 2009 GTS similar gremlins only caused when not running or not on tender.....swapping battery out this week, fingers crossed. rear hatch doesnt suck in properly on close when car isnt running and pretty sure that's the culprit

Leave it to Porsche! Nice DIY, I don't know I would have believed it otherwise!
Love watching Jay….great DIY
Thanks! I'll keep 'em coming!
We have a lot more Jay content to come!
So your battery is dead but still need power to move the seat?!? Doesn’t make any sense!
I don't want to think how much of a pain this would be if the battery was dead.
Also, do these cars need battery coding?
Fortunately this DIY didn't require any battery coding!
If the battery is 100% shot you can power the seat and base electrics with a tender on the jump posts under the hood.
I’d like some Mercedes content too :)
What the fuck was Porsche thinking.
Thx........ 고맙습니다..^^
Are we just gonna ignore the little paper guy under the driver seat? 😆 Also had NO clue that is where the battery was.
He was just chillin’ figured we’d leave him be
You did more work then you had too. It's not that difficult, you just made it difficult.
Do tell your way or are you just harassing him 🤔
Did you cut the cheese when you pulled the old battery out? Accidents do happen. Ask biden.
😂
Or Trump, the diaper guy.
