Just a little extra context for anyone who wanders by the comments: this TAS was made and submitted in 2020; I thought it had been rejected for glitchless being not sufficiently different from the faster glitched run. This is actually the first TAS I ever made, and as such is super unoptimized. The most recent TAS was also just published and is significantly faster. Thanks for watching!
I played BoF 1/2 on the Switch recently. Honestly, it was a pretty frustrating jaunt. Not difficult, just very annoying at times. Poor direction mixed with outright wrong instructions at times due to incorrect translations, lead to a less enjoyable experience. The random battle encounter rate is also too high for its own good. Some people like this game but some people also like anchovies on pizza, soo...

I love Breath of fire so much, still underrated in my opinion.
It would've been tons better if Capcom had a smarter translation team, instead of using their inhouse translators that suck balls.
@abomasnow4 well, I mean, aren't there fan translations for BoF2? If not I can understand the frustration but still a great game.
