Having been a jw who found Christ a couple years ago this has me jumping for joy!! I always felt deep in my spirit that I am meant to worship Jesus, but I always felt guilty doing so because 22 years in the watchtower organization told me only Jehovah is god! My brother I want to thank you for your diligence in revealing the truth, may god continue to pour out more blessings on you :)

There are six things that Jehovah does hate, yes, seven are things detestable to his soul, lofty eyes, a false tongue, and hands that are shedding innocent blood, a heart fabricating hurtful schemes, feet that are in a hurry to run to badness, a false witness that launches forth lies, and anyone sending forth contentions among brothers. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

Do they 1) use the original Greek source or 2) do they use a Greek translation of the English JW NWT bible? And, if it’s #2, why are there any Greek JWs since it should be very easy for them to see the inaccuracies in the NWT?

Yes, but, there is the fact to consider that the Greek spoken today is not nearly the same as it was at the time the Septuagint or the New Testament were written. It is sometimes estimated that a speaker of modern Greek can understand about 50 % of a text written in Old Greek. (As an English speaker, you would have similar problems when trying to read a text in Old or even Middle English.)

I have always seen that verse in light of Philippians 2:6-8 where Jesus emptied Himself of His Deity and took on the role of a servant. He came down to earth and was obedient to the Father. He became our perfect example... praying to the Father, watching to see where the Father is at work, relying on the Father, etc.
In other words, we have to remember that Jesus was in a temporary lower position as a servant while He was here on Earth. This is shown in John 17:5 where He says, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."

@@ericschaeffer8288 True, Jesus and his Father, our Heavenly Father are not one in the same. Jesus is begotten from God, the Father. That is, God issued forth Jesus from Himself, and thus Jesus is f the very same essence of God, which is why Jesus could say "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." Jesus prayed to the Father who never left His lofty abode in heaven, which is why God's voice was heard from heaven while Jesus was on the earth. The *bosom* position that Jesus had with his Father was unique only to himself. Jesus is not a created angel and nor is he the arc-angel Michael. One of the strongest scriptures identifying Jesus as Jehovah for me is John 12:41 where John, speaking about Jesus, states that Isaiah saw His glory and spoke of him. The reference is to Isa 6:1-10. The NWT study bible notes that Isaiah saw Jesus and Jehovah, but John says he saw Him not them. Also, the NWT study bible note contradicts Watchtower's teaching that Jesus was Michael the Arch angel prior to becoming human because they identified him as Jesus.

"when the watchtower calls Jesus Lord instead of God"
Where the Greek says _kyrios_ [Lord] in reference to Jesus, Watchtower substitutes and says _Jehovah._ This causes the text to be twisted, distorted, repeatedly in showing Jesus is God.

Jesse Torres you are on the money. These statements are missing the Torah mindset that puts it in its proper comprehension. The view has a merit only when viewed from this end of time backwards to the 1st century writers, but the trick is to look at it from the other end coming forward to the 1st Century. Jesus is Jehovah but not the way modern man understands it, as this presentation shows, only through the Hebrew mindset can you see it, and brother you got it!
And yet there is so much more to grasp.
This duality expressed as a singleness is not comprehensible through the lense of Latin and Helenistic thought people. Come from the other end and again as the author of this video implores, be exegesis, in your view from the other end also. There are always to side to a coin, but God is multi faceted and you must not box him into left and right, stuck on your views of words and spellings. Satan is surely deceiving as Isaiah48 expresses, that is one reason they call it spelling!!! No matter what the language it is in, its casting a spell over heart and mind, be careful to be patient of your acquisition of knowledge, for the path to life is one of faith and not of correct or be it incorrect comprehension of grammar!

The very word "Jehovah" is a 13th c translation error by Raymundus Martini, a Catholic monk who inserted the vowel points of Adonai into the consonants of YHWH (the vowel points were above the consonants as a reminder, to guard against saying the Divine Name, so Holy it was to the Jews). Watchtower, in one of their own publications, called it a blunder. I'll bet the 99.9% of current Witnesses don't know this. Does it HONOR God to call him by the WRONG name?
‘As to the Old Testament name of God, certainly the spelling and pronunciation “Jehovah” were originally a blunder. But the spelling and the pronunciation are not highly important. What is highly important is to keep it clear that this is a personal name. (The Bible in Living English, 1972, p.7).
      Watchtower also said :
“Yes, many Bible scholars acknowledge that ‘Yahweh’ more nearly represents the Hebrew pronunciation of the Divine Name”(WT, July 15, 1964, p. 423)
“Hebrew scholars generally favor “Yahweh” as the most likely pronunciation” (Aid To Bible Understanding, 1971, p. 885)
“ ’Jehovah’ ” is the best known English pronunciation of the Divine name, although “Yahweh” is favored by most Hebrew scholars” (Insight on the Scriptures, 1988, vol. 2, p. 5)

As mentioned previously, I have always seen those verses in light of Philippians 2:6-8 where Jesus emptied Himself of His Deity and took on the role of a servant.

12:30 the word kyrios (Lord) has not been changed for Jesus; it has been changed to Jehovah for God since Isaiah refers to God Jehovah. However, your own propaganda does not point out that Lord was changed to Jehovah because Isaiah says so, rather you gripe it hasnt been changed for Jesus. It is because kyrios means Lord not Jehovah. And although you call it a quote of Jehovah, our Paul makes it clear what your propaganda ignores HE ADDS to the glory of God Jehovah. So Paul is very open-mined and clear that his own demon crowd around him are just like you trying to make issue whether it is God or Jesus so they can trash Jesus. While you try to raise Jesus to BE God himself, he was speaking to those who needed to see the knees bend to Jesus FOR God Jehovah.

Richard, there are many passages that confirm this same message:
Revelation 1:8 - Jehovah said He is the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga.
Revelation ‪22:12-13‬ - Jesus gave Himself the same title.
Isaiah 44:6 - Jehovah said He is the First and the Last.
Revelation ‪1:17-18‬ - Jesus gave Himself the same title.
Acts 3 - Jehovah raised Christ from the dead.
John ‪2:19-21‬ - Christ said He will raise Himself.
Matthew 4:10 - Only Jehovah must receive worship.
      Matthew 14:33, 28:9, Hebrews 1:6, and Revelation 5:6-9, 12-14 - Jesus receives worship.
Romans 10:13- Whoever calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.
Acts ‪4:12‬ - Jesus is the only name by which we must be saved.
And then there are verses like Thomas calling Jesus "My Lord and my God" and Jesus saying "When you see Me, you see the Father." The list can go on and on.
The point I’m trying to make here is that there are many Scriptures that show Jehovah and Jesus as One and the same.

It was the Devil who told Eve: "You positively will not die." (Genesis 3:4; Revelation 12:9) But she did die, no part of her lived on. That the soul lives on after death is a lie started by the Devil. And it is also a lie, which the Devil has had spread, that the souls of the wicked are tormented in a hell or purgatory. Since the Bible clearly shows that the dead are unconscious, these teachings could not be true. Actually, neither the word "purgatory nor the idea of a purgatory is found in the Bible.

My personal opinion you’re both wrong and knowing this has no bearing on my salvation Jesus is our Lord and Savior that is true. Is he the original true God or was he created? ❤️ We are to be zealous for one another, other Christians in the body of Christ. Not only do we serve one another with the gifts we have but we love one another as best as we are able. Then he adds, “since love covers a multitude of sins.” All religions from my perspective are guilty of going beyond what is written, and enforcing their own doctors were told over and over and scripture do not follow men nobles, or kings. Does that exclude you we’re all individually responsible for seeking truth not be followers of anybody that’s human anyways, all religions have the same obligation to represent truth. He came down to earth and was obedient to the Father. He became our perfect example... praying to the Father, watching to see where the Father is at work, relying on the Father, etc.

You say Jesus took a "temporary" subjection position when he was on earth however please go back and reread 1 cor. 15:27, 28 and ask yourself when will Jesus subject himself to God? On earth or when he is in heaven as an enthroned king? Hint: it's in the verse lol. We agree the watchtower society is a false prophet who has mislead and literally killed people with their blood doctrine which I wish you would have touched on. But the Trinity or rather lack thereof is one thing they actually have right who would have figured lol keep posting videos! You do great research and the video was well made!!

@@ericolmos7816 1Corinthians 15 makes perfect sense with a subjection/Trinitarian perspective. It does not make sense with a inferiority/Trinitarian perspective. It also does not make sense with a Unitarian perspective. With the latter, God does not have control of the kingdom for a period of time.
“Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.”
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:24‬ ‭NIV‬‬
The Triune God of the Bible has authority over His creation at all times. The invented Unitarian god contradicts 20-30 Scriptures and does not have authority of creation for a period of time.
I realize that Watchtower indoctrination runs deep, even after leaving, but try to read the Bible for what it actually says, not for what you have been taught.
      Hope that helps
