- In a recent JW Broadcast, Brother Gary Breaux assured the universe that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses 'never lies' and 'we can trust them.' Let's do some fact checking.

My wife and I were baptised in 1971 devoted years and years doing tasks supposedly for Almighty God Elder etc it takes time to realise that this is and always was a cult.There are some genuine people still in there our letters went in last week cannot be associated any longer.For those who misled me I forgive them and pray that truth is revealed to them for there is a mediator between God and men Christ Jesus.Your presentation is factual to all who seek Truth it is a must watch Thank You.

My husband and i were in for over 20 years..not born in by any means.. i was 30 when i was baptized and he 37.. and we had studied for 2 yrs.. we have been out over 8 years.. it has been such a blessing.. we just faded, but were marked early on.. for what, we do not know..we believe it was apostasy although we did not go around talking about our doubts..just to the elders who promised to help us and answer our questions.. because they LOVED us.. they did not answer ONE of our questions and the next thing we knew we were being shunned..a few months later we learned that there had been a MARKING talk about us.. Unbelievable. marking us because we desired truth and transparency! So we have lost many friends and family relationships which is very sad, but we KNOW in our hearts God will correct everything.. it is Him alone we must trust..no earthly man or org (PS 146:3)..it still amazes me how many times we read this scripture as JWS but never thought to apply it when it came to the org!!!! peace and love to you

Great Video Stacey! The GB has been known to deal in absolutes, when you do that and you’re wrong then it’s clearly a manipulative lie! Even if they say it’s not deliberate I think Abraham Lincoln says it best “I believe it is an established maxim in morals that he who makes an assertion without knowing whether it is true or false, is guilty of falsehood…”

Ironic that Gary Breaux claimed that the Watchtower Society's Governing Body never lies, even though, in truth, they do. Doesn't he realize that, according to Proverbs 6:16-19, that God hates a lying tongue? Worse, they claim to speak in the name of God, even though He never inspired them to put forth their false doctrines. Wow, talk about being blasphemous! Yes, I believe it is blasphemous because they are bringing God's name into their sin of lying, which is like "dragging it through the mud", so to speak. Jesus Christ strongly warns us that speaking against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. He issued that stern warning to the Jewish religious leaders of Israel when they falsely accused Him of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub, when He cast them out by the power of God. Thank you for continuing to expose the lies and hypocrisy of the Watchtower Society. What do you think?

Interestingly, jury service was a problem for me in UK.An active JW, I was selected for Crown Court Murder trial.Before Jury was selected,I learned that I knew both accused and deceased both JWs from nearby congregations Young man asked to marry the daughter Father sent him packing.Accused returned shot him dead.I was excused for declaring and telling the truth.

My parents said to me "the Governing Body would never lie to us" right before I showed them Geoffrey's statement.
To them I'm an outspoken PIMO, but both my wifes and my own parents have become more cautious and dont engage in spiritual discussions as much despite not rejecting them. The cognitive dissonance is too much I suppose. Makes me worry for them so much at times.

I just lost my mother that was a JW. After her death I found documents from the elders and The head quarters discussing my sexual abuse as a child. They said to send me away, which my parents did. Then I asked to speak at my mom’s funeral and was told because I was not a witness that I was not allowed to speak at all at the service. Evil!!

Stacy, excellent as always. Breaux stated the gb never lies or decieves us. I encourage everyone to go to the 4/1/1972 Watchtower article entitled " The nations shall know a Prophet was among them". Read the article and then consider Gary's statement.
The GB teach that judgment of the dead after resurrection will not be based on what they did before they died. They quote Romans 6:7, and misinterpret it to mean that if one dies, he has been aquited of his sins. The GB members are liers, and claim to be what they are not.
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Psalm 146
the only Bible verse a JW needs to consider.... every single time the Governing Body require their obedience....
So what should we believe in now, and how do we know that it's correct?
I am agnostic personally....I don't feel comfortable telling anyone what to believe, but I highly encourage everyone to have an open mind and EXPLORE it all!

To claim something is a lie, you need to prove the accused knew what they said was wrong before they said it.
The very theme of his talk was a lie. Let's start there. Claiming they don't lie when they lied millions of times is proof enough. Not to mention, requiring obedience to men and openly stating that relationship is required for SALVATION .....when Psalms 146:3 claims NO man can give salvation. They couldn't read that??

Bro, I know you must realize that they would say lying , never, mistakes, yes. They’ll just qualify things to fit under the mistakes, uninspired umbrella, that’s all.
