I'm not afraid to say that I cried after seeing this the first time. I didn't expect that at all. So powerful. We seem to forget that whilst we are complaining about what we have, & haven't got & how bad we think our own lives are, that we forget there are many out there that are going through REAL struggles.

There was one guy in our village. 3 to 4 years older than me, like my oldest brother. When we grew older he always greeted and talked with me. Super nice. Evwn though we actually weren't really close. Tbh when we were younger we had nothing to do with each other.
I didnt see it back then but... one day I heard he took his life... Since he always approached me and was so nice and open I would never expected this.
    RIP Jan...

Its important they dont know. Let everyone see you as the happiest person in the room. When you are gone thats all they will remember. A happy thought. It's that happy memory keeping me alive. The moment it starts to actually show on my face, the pain pierces through the smile, i will politely and as quietly as i can, exit stage left.

This is so eye-opening, thank you for making this. And I didn’t expect the ending, because I was the typical guy on the left type of depresses, not caring about anything anymore, no one checking up on me, always feeling terrible. I never bothered to fake being okay, because nobody cared either way, if I was presenting happy or sad. And I was miserable. I still am, 15 years later, but hey. I’m here.

I see the same signs in me right now. Yesterday I finally opened up about my suicidal thoughts to me ex right after we broke up. It wasn't to pressure him (the break up was mostly from my side), but he was the only one I felt I could tell at that moment, cause I would distress everyone else too much. Now I want to tell everyone but I am also afraid to do that step...
