What if the collision detection was on? Wouldn't you get a message that there is a collision?
In your case the collision is acceptable when rotating parts comes in contact with each other, but how do I tell to Inventor that this type of collision is acceptable and can be ignored?

Great question Sergey! Collision Detection is a tricky option when driving constraints, as it finds ALL the collisions and stops immediately. Therefore, I usually only test against the components that I set as a part of a "Contact Set". If I set components as a "Contact Set" and the contact of those parts prevents motion, then the simulation will stop. I use that technique to identify the range of motion for mechanisms. If you want Inventor to ignore certain potential contacts, then don't include those parts in the "Contact Set". Hope this helps, but please let us know if you have additional questions.
