Sorry for late respond, PI is math constant, it is 3.14159265359 to calculate the circumference of a circle. but in Inventor you just type PI and it will automatically convert into that constant.

This Methode won't align the chain on the arc correctly, because the pattern uses the arc length, but the chain pitch is a linear length.

since inventor only consider straight path during radius, so you need to reduce the pitch length of individual chain, shorter is better.
