I know some people may disagree with this statement, but I think that Tommy Clufetos is one of the best drummers out there. I rank him up there with the likes of Neil Peart.
This guy grew up in the same town as I did. He was on Fox 2 when we were still in high school. They showed him playing some crazy jazz fusion drum solo. The kid could really do it all. I'm very happy to see the success he's achieved. Having the talent is one thing, having the connections is one thing, but to really do this, you have to really want it. He really wanted it.
My step dad and I ran sound for his dad Tommy C band when I ment Tommy c the drummer he was young I knew he was going to be a great drummer and he is one of the greatest drummer's 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Why would anyone hate on this guy? He's a great drummer, and from the interviews I've seen and read with him, he seems like a great guy with a great approach to music and playing.
This man is an animal on drums. I've seen him live several times now, and must say that his timing and WHAT he plays are impeccable. The guy is amazing. Just has made such a huge difference to all of the classics. Go Tommy, we who love Ozzy LOVE YOU! You are just the best. LIsten to the crowds, show after show everyone is raving how fantastic Ozzy sounds. Hats off to him, and like he says, to the other stellar musicians, Adam Wakeman, Gus G, Blasko. Ozzy rocks, these guys are so worthy!
When i saw that Tommy Clufetos was the drummer for the world tour of the mighty Black Sabbath i thought, excellent. The only choise out there. The only question is, why dident he play on the album? He is so much better then Wilks. Never mind, im stoked that they went with Tommy.
@tylerabbott totally, that's why Ozzy hired him, and he has endorsement deals. Someone who has no talent can't hold sticks, just because he isn't the best drummer ever, no way means he has 'no talent.'
th-cam.com/video/XTVHpmk4-Ew/w-d-xo.html Judging from that video, I´d say you´re a PERFECT fit!! Probably the funniest drum-video on youtube, by the way. Perfect last name for the gig as well!!!
@tylerabbott So are you gonna start suggesting Bill Ward had no talent? Tommy is playing parts he wrote, anyway when you're playing stuff like this it's about feel and timing, not who can play the most fills in the shortest amount of time.

this guy has a lot of feeling for a modern metal drummer. respect, tommy.
At first I was like, "Pffffffft..." but then I was like, "Daaaaaaamn!!"
Thank you Tommy, for the honor you give to a living legend. Ozzy rules!
You fuckin rock Tommy god bless
he is so entertaining to watch! Love it!
He must get so tired playing like that
Best drummer of this day and age!

I like Tommy. This guy's impressive. But Ozzy's best drummer was Randy Castillo.
Deen Castronovo
Tommy Aldridge
Randy Castillo
Carmine Appice
Brian Tych
Mike Bordin
Lee Kerslake
Tommy Clufetos.
Minha opiniao...
pretty cool that the camera starts shaking during the solo :p
is this a rage against the machine song?
AMEN!

Perfect beat. Very very hard solo; a) very dynamic b) very long
@ryantksdrums That's true, I just find it unfair that he gets free gear and he's not that great lol.
hes very good but idk doesnt deem like a good fit for rat salad maybe im just too used to bill ward solo hes very good dont get me wrong but idk
Man - hope he doesn't get physical problems down the road. He's so physical on the kit. Good player though
@tylerabbott hating on famous drummers doesn't either.
he seems COOL 2me...
I only drink Pepsi because of Tommy as well :-)

@ryantksdrums Being famous has nothing to do with talent.
Have a cold Tommy? :-0
THUMBS UP IF THE WAR PIGS MAKE YOU PEE !
Good drummer needs to find a good band he can stick too and hopefully they won't sound like every other band he is up there with Mike portnoy
DANG!!!... ..I bet his heads only last him about a week and his cymbals won't last him much longer by the way he bangs on em....lol
