Hey thanks for your videos right now I'm dealing with the p0444 I have until the end of May to get my emissions test But I changed the purge solenoid valve but nothing I noticed that every time I erase the check engine for the code soon I restart the car it comes back up in a matter of seconds (20 to 30 s) do you think is the pcm that is shorted to ground?
Is there a trick to get the bottom hose off. I cannot get it off- do you push the plastic ring bit in or do you pull it out, do you squeeze it, do you twist it off. I would greatly appreciate your advice on this?
Dude I was struggling to get that hose off as well. Its just one of those things - you gotta keep trying and twisting it and whatnot until it comes off, no trick really.
I've heard of E46's having the idle be a little rough at startup but in my case, replacing this piece helped a ton with the idle. So from my experience, I can say with confidence that the Surge Valve definitely helps at least a little with the rough idle. -Eugene
Hi. Thx for the video. I have quite a few of your vids saved into my “E46 M3 repair” playlist. Question: you mention that there’s another purge valve near the gas tank under the large cover. I tried to find it on RealOEM, but only found a leak detection pump there. ? Thx.
I need help with my e46 m3, it was involved in a crash and now it won’t turn on it has crank but no start idk if it’s the fuel pump, tank venting valve Tempomat I’m lost no lie

@@rodger6940 I mean possible, but unlikely I wouldn't think. I'm not sure bro
Great video! Thanks for the diy. I’m having the same code. Going to change on mine also.
No problem bro. Good luck

How about po455
Shall i reset the check engine light after replacing? Or wait till it goes away by itself?
Valve didn’t fix mine
Do you happen to know the Part number to the part u used? Everything I’ve found so far says does not for the M3
13907831770
Is this part was causes the idle rpm to surge at startup? I just thought all E46 M3 had a slight surge at startup

Bro it could be so many things! But it's odd that it started doing that after a car accident...
Any idea why this would go bad after head rebuild? My head was rebuilt and this came on a few weeks after just like you said. Great video!
Seriously? That's so odd.. Yeah man, I have no idea why, but if it's a thing, then I'd love to know why!
Where did you purchase the part from.
Just a local German car parts store in Portland. Best case scenario, a dealer would always have these.
