- The 1989 San Francisco 49ers were a force of nature. In their first season with head coach George Seifert, the team went an impressive 14 and 2 in the regular season, and won what would be their 4th franchise Super Bowl. The team was full of legends, including quarterback Steve Young and wide receiver Jerry Rice. While these great players couldn't continue in professional football forever, most have gone on to continued success. Some of them remain in football - as announcers or in other roles - but others have entered the realms of finance, business, or motivational entertainment. This is what the 1989 San Francisco 49ers look like today.

Who do you feel has gone through the biggest change?
I lived in Duval County Florida during early 70s when the Dolphins were awesome, Mercer County PA during Steelers run in later 70s, and Sacramento County California in the 80s for 49rs

Craig should be in the Hall of Fame….when I think of those 80s 49er team he is one of the guys I think about…and the 49ers are not my team.
Ugh Roger hope that isn't true that your better now physically then 1989. That wouldn't be something to be proud of.
