⚠ Remember that external battery solutions are not recommended by Panasonic and you use them at your own risk. The only official external power solution is the AC10 adapter 👉 th-cam.com/video/wuXk-GsRgV4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oYhUhsR7RJanWYw_ I have been using external batteries for my Panasonic GH5 and GH6 for years with no issues but I am always careful when powering up and down the camera and never try to hot-swap cables when using external power.
Thank you Steve! With a dummy battery without a regulator one could accidentally plug into the 12 volt output and create a brick. Battery chargers use about 8.2v to charge the 7.2v battery. Wonder about the safety of 9v input? It obviously works though. Also wonder why Lumix doesn't have a DC solution, just AC with a wall plug.
No problem, glad you found it helpful. Luckily the Kondor Blue dummy batteries do have one built in. Yeah I have the AC10 adapter from Lumix which is very good but it's a shame there aren't external battery solutions for it.
Does the Kondor Blue 2.1mm cable work with the Blindspot Power Junkie? I bought a Fotga dummy battery, which I believe is 2.5mm, and it won't fit in the Power Junkie.
Thank you, glad you found it useful 👍 You could connect it using USB PD power if your V Mount battery supports it 👉 th-cam.com/video/ahmr7tDT1eY/w-d-xo.html
Imagine if there was a setting that allowed the camera to automatically focus on what was in front of it so we could actually see what you are showing us

Blimey Steve, just what the doctor ordered. Brilliant, just the solution I was looking for. 👏. Thank you.

Yes it does, you can see it working in this video at about 5 and a half minutes in 👉 th-cam.com/video/csiyyARMBaQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=C1Z9jnooQvK376yv
Thanks!@@stevelitton
Super super helpful mate. Quick question. What alternative we have to using dummy battery if we want to connect v mount battery to s5ii?

It's shot on the GH5, the AF is what it is 🤷♂
