- One night while drinking, the plaintiff claims the defendant broke his television and assaulted him with a bag of fried chicken, so he’s suing. However, the defendant insists he never damaged the plaintiff’s television. The defendant admits he assaulted his friend with a bag of chicken but says the plaintiff instigated the fight. The defendant is countersuing for defamation of character and the cost of food.

I ran into judge mathis yesterday .he was down town in detroit at the TV lounge . I walked over to him shook his hand and asked if I could take a picture. Very down to earth guy. He made my day. He is a very humble man! He smiled the whole time and said sure u can get a picture with me. It was a beautiful day running into him. I posted the picture on my Facebook page
