    • @internetperson9121
      @internetperson9121 หลายเดือนก่อน +672

      I like it when people take time to clarify that for a child. When you are a kid, you’ve got a partial idea of how everything works. When I was a kid, the adults were always more worried about their own business and making jokes at my expense, getting a kick out of seeing me confused or distressed. I am no victim but it messed me up to this day I struggle (though I have overcome it, it is difficult at times). I always take time to clarify things for a child and listen to their questions and answer them sincerely and honestly, that is the only way they can learn how the world works and develop a solid sense of self.

      It's one thing for the deputy to tell the kid he did nothing wrong. But telling him to look at me is where so many people get lost in their own importance. Be calm, talk to the boy but don't be demanding. The poor boy spent 53 minutes that afternoon with a authority figure demanding of him. The last thing he needs to hear is another authority figure demanding him to do something.
      Speaking softly and compassionately is the best way. I work with restorative justice and I've seen a person completely shut down due to a person speaking like the deputy.

      @@DeadOnInfil I completely agree. It seems to me that there are also a ton of people claiming to be autistic for the exact same reason. I could be wrong but if I am that means there are a massive amount of people who have become autistic over the last 20 years or so. That should be grounds for a serious and thorough investigation.

    I am a retired principal from both public schools and a private school. The very fact that NEITHER the "executive" principal or pastor had personnel files kept to know where this principal lived is reason enough to close down that school. And to think they didn't even run a proper background check on Prophet where they would have discovered his evil past. UNBELIEVABLE.

      NEWS FLASH: Most employers don't check the backgrounds of the employees before hiring.
      Heck, the police never do.
      They, like the Catholic church, just relocate the bad employees into new districts.
      And I'm sure your school didn't do it's due diligence when hiring also. Background checks are expensive. And not all bad deeds can be found out anyway.
      With the limited budget of schools, I doubt they could even afford a basic background check on all the employees.
      By law (and if you truly were a school principal, you would have known this) past employers are very limited on what they can say about an employee currently employed or previously employed.
