      And i love the Airbus A320 :
      - turn on the batteries
      - Start the Apu
      Power up complete ..
      Note :
      -The A320 family has an APU fuel pump and a Battery.

    Wow most impressive. Took a minute to realize this is a sim. My first thought was why is there a 727 parked on a runway threshold lol. Thats amazing! Very very cool!!

    Very very nice...the 727 is my favorite also. A 727 flight engineer check airmen trained me on the flight engineer panel. I now am a mechanic for AA and run up and taxi the 757,767,777 200 and 300..still love the 727 the most. Thanks for the video...

    Amazing sim. I'm planning everything to build my own simulator. It'll be a 737-200. It has exactly the same pedestal as your 727. Where did you find its plans ? Or was it a pre built one?

    Seriously nice sim you have built there! I have several thousand hours in the good 'ol Tri-Motor, and I am currently gathering everything for a sim build like this. She remains my favorite aircraft to this day, and I would still be flying her if they hadn't been unceremoniously sent to the desert after 9/11. I am Captain on the A320 now. Did you keep the 18v bulbs for the korry lights, or change them out for 12v? Also, your ADI looks a bit different than the one in the FlyJSim 727. Is it a real electromechanical instrument, or a monitor behind the panel? Thanks, and ROCK ON! : )

    • @Mr727sim
      @Mr727sim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hi. All korry bulbs are 28v, but I power them with a 24v power supply. The instruments are displayed on lcd screens, but I have made them myself. The ADI is made from photos of a real unit. The are programmed an ran through a program called air manager. My gauges are available to everyone with an air manager licence. Thanks for your kind words and best of luck with your build! Keep me posted on your progress! We 727 builders are few and far between! The 27 is by far the most beautyful jetliner ever!

    • @NegdoshaManido
      @NegdoshaManido 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mr727sim I agree! She is gorgeous! Thanks for the correction on the 28v. Typo I missed. : ) Are you using original control columns with the crossover linkage, and are you on the cockpit builders forum? Thanks again brother! Your music is great too BTW!!

    • @Mr727sim
      @Mr727sim  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NegdoshaManido The columns and yokes are out of a 747. They’re stamped 1968, so they must be out of one of the first ones built! I made a new cross over bar and bolted it to the base of the columns. I’m on mycockpit.org and cockpitbuilders.com. Haven’t been active on there in ages though.

    Hi! Did you transfer the Probst and Dreamfleet gauges to x plane with air manager or did you make completely new instruments with air manager for your xplane transition? Also can you tell me how to look up your xplane 727 gauge files in airmanager? And finally which boards and software did you use to interface your lights and switches to the fly sim 727 flight model? Thanks!
