    ik this was posted a while ago, but at 4:48, you say turn left to 066 at 3200ft. That's not quite right. What that chart is saying is you need to cross 3.3 miles from the "OEV" LOC DME at or above 3,200 feet, and only turn when you hit that 3.3 DME. This allows all aircraft to fly the exact same path, since not all planes cimb at the same rate of speed. Then the 066 is not a heading you turn to, it is saying turn left to track a course of 066 to the RUM NDB utilizing your ADF. Hope this helps and love the vids!

      I know. I didn’t outline the full procedures in my little texts. It was just an attempt to give a quick overview of where we are, and what we’re doing.

    Wow! Outstanding job on your 72! I flew the 72 the first ten years of my career and own a 45' section of a 727-200 with a complete cockpit and cabin and would love to know more about your sim as I plan on making mine a FFS with motion. Are you using the FlyJSim 727 as the flight model and do you have your Engineers panel tied into the actual operation of the sim such as the APU, Fuel, Elec, Hyd, Pneumatic's etc? Congrats on your great work and I look forward to seeing it fly a whole lot more. Would love to see a documentary on the sim and the build. Thanks for sharing!!!

      Hi. Yes I use the FlyJsim 727. The FE panel and the APU are interfaced and working with the sim. All switches and lights, not the FE panel gauges though. Thanks for your kind words!

      I have no real life experience with the 727, so don’t be too hard on my lack of proper procedures! Lol. I allways wanted to fly the real 727, but never got past King Air B200. Now I’m a mechanical engineer. Comes in handy for cockpit building at least! Lol.

    Hi! Did you transfer the Probst and Dreamfleet gauges to x plane with air manager or did you make completely new instruments with air manager for your xplane transition? Also can you tell me how to look up your xplane 727 gauge files in airmanager? And finally what board and software did you use to interface your lights and switches to the flyjsim 727? Thanks!

    • @Mr727sim
      @Mr727sim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. The gauges are all custom made in airmanager. There is no acces to the x-plane gauges folder. Airmanager has its own gauge folder. Switches and lights are interfaced using Teensy.

      @@Mr727sim Hi Again and THANKS for your reply! I have a few questions for you since I will soon try to do the same you have done by transitioning to xplane. FS 2004 died on me this month after many years of flying and I know I will have more longevity with my sim if I transition to xplane. However xplane and how to use it is a whole new ball game to me and I know that with your priceless knowledge and experience, not only with xplane, but also with the Flyjsim727, Air manager and wrap around visuals, I will be able to get a jump start on returning my 727 to the skies again. Hurricane Maria, the earthquake we had in our island and the pandemic all took its tole on my pc due to NO USE and when I booted her up last month my hard drive and all its data died. I'm serching for a way to recover my data, but I dont know if that is possible at all. Therefore Xplane and Flyjsim are my onle hope. as well as you invaluable knowledge. Perhaps we can work out a deal for your consultations. Would love to exchange conversations with you. My email is maldonado@xsn.net. And you can find me in facebook as Joseph M Maldonado. My profile picture is a pice of me, shoulders up, holding a model of a Delta 767 and standing Infront of a real Delta 767. If you freind me we can comunicate through Messenger. Hi Again! Once you have created a panel with air manager how do you assign it to your Flyjsim 727 in xplane? Thanks!

    • @Mr727sim
      @Mr727sim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@project727flightsim You dont. Air manager runs on a client pc and has it’s own plug-in in X-plane. It reads whatever xrefs (think offsets) you’ve programmed into the instruments logic and the instrument acts accordingly. Most of my gauges are available for download through airmanager once you get a license. Mind you, I’m on an old air manager cooy. FlyJsim V2 (not V3) and xplane 10, so I’m a bit outdated. I know some people have done furter work based on my gauges, so I don’t know current status.
