I despise the perverted characterization of Odo & Kira conflict JUST for forced dumbshit drama as if not done enough in the show. @Startrek I'm LIVID! Odo & Kira have a bond in TRUST & if using that Story of faking Hurq attacks for Alpha Quad help, KIRA WOULD HAVE PLAYED ALONG! Like she almost started a WAR with the Romulans by faking a stand off BUT TOLD ODO! and ODO asked if she TRUSTED HIM! Odo would NEVER NOT tell or give signs to Kira about something dangerous to Bajor , she would NEVER STRIKE ODO! Yell ignore but by now she would KNOW ODO. Your's is BS

One of the best Love stories ever written, EVER and one of the best Love scenes ever filmed. The look in Odo's eyes when Kira says she wants to know him, the way he really is......wow, just wow! And the way he walks towards her and looks at her....his body just seems to relax, everything about him softens and he can just 'be', perhaps for the first time ever. Beautiful to watch and sensitively played by both Actors. On a side note, Rene's eyes just melt me; they are SO expressive!
Am I the only one that thought Rene's stunning eyes made Odo very innocent and handsome?
The shame is Rene is so used to being the annoying character people don't like and snooty crank or hiding as a voice actor that he always is taken aback embarrassed the adoration attraction from female fans especially Trek ones because of Odo.
@@klyanadkmorr I also think he just wasn't comfortable with that kind of thing from complete strangers.
The emotion in his voice during scenes like these make me realize how great Rene was as an actor. I knew I shouldn't have watched this while on my lunch break, it's making me so emotional.

Odo coming from being embarrassed by his bucket to this is probably some of the best character progression in a TV series. So good.
One of the most amazing love scenes ever on TV. Definitely the most passionate, tender one on Star Trek.

It's a cool scene because I remember Odo always being afraid/anxious of showing people who he was. But here as soon as Kira said she wants to know him properly he shows her exactly who he is and honestly it's amazing

I remember going to a convention where some idiot in the audience said to Rene that he didn't understand why Odo was so into Kira. That man was nearly tackled by those who were not already booing his inane comment. Rene just stared at the man as if he was insane and said, "Do you have eyes in your head?" That pretty much said it all.

Who you really are.” - this speaks volumes beyond the context of the episode, or being a shapeshifter, its the basic principle all relationships should strive for, to accept someone else for who they are, not who you want them to be, or who you think they are. Star Trek has such amazing universal morals and themes and messages about being human even if told through an alien story.
