I should have been more clear about why I’m using the word “depressing” during the @mrhoffame room tour. I meant it puts my collection to shame and it’s depressing I’ll never get there. Hyperbole of course and a sad attempt to be funny, which probably got lost in the edit.
I'm late to the VC party, just got around to doing my 2024 vinyl tag video. I apparently missed the bus with Fleetwood Mac's Rumours. I guess I need to pick that one up. Great video.
Another killer video Jason, amazing how yours and mine music styles from the 80es match. I was heavily into (and still am to a degree) New Order, The Smiths, Joy Division, Morrissey, Beautiful South, The Cure etc. Have those mostly still on CDs but also on a vinyl here and there ;-) And Zoot Soot Riot… you just made me spin it again today, after 20 or so years ;-)
Great minds think alike, Drazen! We definitely have very similar tastes across the board! Glad I could inspire you to dust off Cherry Poppin' Daddies! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words! By the way, I just sent you an email!
Fantastic response to this! I don't have the Fleetwood Mac, but I have had it in the past. Mr Hall of Fame room is amazing!! Thank you for the shout out bro.
@happyhippythevinylguy Thanks, Rod! You don't have Rumours??? How??? Just kidding. From what I've seen, you've got a pretty amazing record room as well!!! Have you done a room tour yet?
Great entry Jay. Need to catch up on my vc watching. Foremost on the list is the dolphy video. New to jazz and I’m sure that video will help underscore how great the album is. All the best. Looking forward to your 2024 vids.
Haha. Loved that sigh when you showed the Madonna album. Great to see Sarah Vaughan getting some attention and so wonderful to see Heatwave in your tag. Rod Temperton was such a genius as a band member and songwriter for Heatwave and for Michael Jackson's Off The Wall and Thriller albums. Can't go wrong with that Cure lp. Brilliant vid. Really enjoyed watching!
Thanks so much for your kind words! I concur wholeheartedly about your sentiments about Rod Temperton. His fingerprints are on so much great music from the era! Thanks for noticing the Madonna thing... I can only be honest!!! I appreciate you watching as always! Have a great weekend!
Great response to the vinyl tag! I like how you reversed the order as it seems fitting to close out with the favorite album you picked up in 2023. I'm new to your channel and just subscribed. Top notch production. Your video looks and sounds great. I will be watching more soon. Cherry Poppin' Daddies, I don't think I heard them since the 90s, blast from the past. mrhoffame's room is pretty incredible. I've watched him move his collection several times now and each time his space is amazing. What a great collection he has. Really enjoyed your video. Best wishes for a great 2024!
Thanks so much for the nice words! Yeah, it seemed like closing with my favorite pickup was the way to go. Nice to meet someone who remembers Cherry Poppin' Daddies! Thanks for reaching out! I'm gonna go check out some of your videos now!
Mr HOF room was like a high class record store. Really mind blowing. Nice eclectic mix of music. Nice Art Work on that Zappa album. I struggle with him but I would buy it just for the art work. Enjoyed your tag Jason
@@TripleE76haha! I’m a Dead Head also! I totally get it. Music is so personal, there’s no 1 record that everyone has. Such an impossible question. How about is there 1 Grateful Dead album every Dead Head has? 🤔
@@TripleE76 I think you nailed it! And I agree! As much as I love American Beauty and Workingman's Dead, I couldn't live without Skull and Roses and Europe '72!!!

Best Vinyl Tag Video so far!!!!
Hey, Rob! You’re far too kind! Thanks so much for watching!!!
Thanks for the shout out Jason! Much appreciated. Talk soon.
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Great Tag man! Really enjoyed how you mixed it up, and of course I didn’t mind the shout out. 😎 Talk soon Buddie

i like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Royal Crown revue, also, right on brother!!
That’s awesome! Back in the day I got to see Cherry Poppin’ Daddies and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy live! Super fun shows!
