I'm new to your channel. I was just diagnosed with herpes 2. In this video you say a condom protects you 30 to 50 percent of the time but in a different video you talked about a woman's chances of passing it are something like 4% and a man's are 10%. Im not quoting exactly but that's a huge difference. Im really confused
Without condoms, without antivirals and without an outbreak, woman has about 4% chance of passing it to a male partner. Same conditions, man has about 4% chance of passing it to the woman. Condoms will reduce that % by 30-50%.

Hi Alex! What about female partner being on Valtrex, no outbreaks, What is chances of spreading if he doesn’t want to wear condom?
