There are SO many dating situations where you cannot just say that not instantly embracing Herpes is just a sign that you were not into them anyway. The more I see of this, the more I feel like someone has an agenda beyond being informative.

If your on antiviral medication can you still spread it to your partner if he’s not taking any to build up immunity.
There is no 100% method that would guarantee you will not transmit herpes. Antivirals are very effective, however there is still a small chance
