Thank you, Nat, for your honesty and transparency. You always provide us with so much useful information. I felt the nostalgia, too, while you were going through the older cash denominations. As kids, my sister and I would be able buy so much candy for $1 at the local store after school. Nowadays, there's very few things you can buy with $1. Such is life 🥹 Hope you have a good weekend!
I am glad you found it useful. 😊 It's so nice to look back and see what we used to do is now completely different. Good to have such memories. Thanks always. Have a wonderful weekend and take care. 😊
Thank you, that is exactly the information I was looking for. I think if I hear you correctly, if someone had $1,500 US monthly they could live a decent life and the health care is fine for ordinary needs.
I watched the video last night when you had your nose surgery. It was very sad to me you were in the room to recover by yourself. I am so sorry there was not someone to help you. I also watched your video on dating and having relationships there. So it is no problem to date a girl and have a mutually loving times together, but could be a problem if you live together. That is really strange for an American to deal with, but of course it would not be wise to cause a problem. But if I understand that situation correctly, one could have a partner of the same gender and it would not create a problem. Is that correct ?
Good day to you, Nat 😊 thank you for the information. They will be helpful for visitors to Laos. Do you know that the ASEAN summit will be held there next month? Stay safe and take care.
Excellent and very helpful video. I do have a question. If staying in Luang Prabang, where is the first local medical care facility that would be best to start with, even though it may be necessary to travel to Vientiane or even another nearby country for further care?
Luang Prabang provincial hospital is the one you'll be looking for. It is a public hospital, oftentimes a very long queue. Phangkham Clinic is an alternative, which is right next to the hospital. For children, Laos-Friends(Children hospital) should be the one.
If the medical treatment, medicine, and hosptalizaition are cheap, it would be okay with no health insurance. Commercial health insurance is way more expensive and only certain groups of pepople buy it. Health insurance is mandiatory in CHINA, but i am sure it hasn's covered everyone, like jobless people, self-employed people.
@@natnomad no no I want to move with my family on laos .. is there any way?? It's not safe for Buddhism in Bangladesh .. that's why I want to move from Bangladesh to another country ...

$1,000 is enough for rent and food for me and girlfriend. $1,500 is enough to live comfortably.
$1,500 monthly is enough to live comfortably in Laos for one person.

👍Cool info and Thank god Laos doesn’t have coin currencys makes it easy 😂
Thankfully. Save more space and less weight to carry😊
The 500 is worth the same as the 10 55 years ago, a piece of candy !
Back when I was 7 or 8. In my village you could buy a small pack of salt or a small pack of MSG with that🙂

Totally true. For most Lao people they don't trust the health insurance companies, so most people just don't bother buying it.
❤👍👍👍🙏
Hi ... I am from Bangladesh.. if I want to shift in laos with my family .. is there any way to do that ??
You mean you want to shift something to Laos for your family? There are shipping companies that ship to Laos such as the EMS & DHL
