The poor man should've been confined to a hospital bed such were his physical issues, yet here he is, live on stage, pouring his heart out. not many humans would have had the strength let alone the inclination. He died 8 weeks later. RIP EP we still have you in our hearts 44years on....

    He lost his health.
And maybe he lost his hope and will to live.
    Maybe......
But he never lost his voice, his love for music and his beautiful smile!
Of course it's sad and painful to watch, but he showed the world that he is still Elvis Presley.
Thanks Michael for this respectful and "on point" reaction!

I appreciate that you are not comparing Elvis with Righteous Brothers. This was a heartfelt performance. He gave it all, what he had available to give at the time. It was powerful. Thank you for giving Elvis his due respect.

He was really struggling at this point in his life, but he still gave all that he could. He did it for the fans. He was an amazing human being.

A truly fantastic reaction to Elvis Presley's rendition, this performance still breaks my heart after seeing it several times and brings tears to my eyes seeing how his personal struggles and demons truly wore him down. It can never be said ever that he lost his voice or his heart to give his fans the best performance he was physically able.

Elvis' VOICE just captivates and if you have anger sadness or any emotion that is untapped --- his music TOUCHES YOU and MOVES YOU and in many ways soothes you and that's what makes him such a LEGEND. The songs aren't just lyrics on a sheet. He is that song on stage. Insane connection with his audience on an emotional level and its never been done this well in over a thousand years if ever. The GOAT without a doubt.

When you've been a fan for 60 years as I have GI Blues at a babyish naive 14, I'm now 74, when I fell in love with a man I would never see or meet, this is heartbreaking, this is his last live concert he died weeks later.
The way he looks and smiles at the audience like a little boy wanting assurance that he's doing well.
Thats the way it is, love doesn't die.
He always gave his all, always after every show or concert asked "was I good enough, and "will I be remembered"
Mr Presley you'll always be the G.O.A.T Greatest of all time ❤

Tremendous performance by Elvis. You can see he’s not the same but that voice, just fantastic. And when he turns a couple of times and gives that quick smile in the middle of the song, it makes you feel so conflicted because this was so close to when he left us. You keep doing Elvis no matter what Michael. 🔥😁❤️

Michael, your warmth and compassion shines through. Anyone that could mock such a man, who gave so much, and being so close the end - they lack humanity, and so their comments are mere spasms, valueless. I'll come to you for commentary, not the haters.

Elvis started performing this in the fall of 1976, alone at the piano with no accompaniment from his band or backup singers. The version you hear in this video has dubbed backing instrumentals and vocals. The piano and lead vocal is all Elvis…he still had it till the end.

A true legend. No one has the right to pass judgement on anyone else. We do not know what demons someone else is battling. Two months ago my world irrevocably changed and no one knew the depth of the demons my first husband struggled with. We knew he struggled but not to the depth that caused him to take his own life. Do not judge others for what you yourself do not understand. Elvis did not die by his hands alone - he had other influences that helped to move him along that journey. Thank you for doing him justice with this reaction. You can see by watching this video that he was enjoying himself with this performance. ❤️

Beautiful song and reaction. I don't usually watch the performances near the end, but I am so glad I saw this. Thank you.

This was from his last tour just six weeks before he died. Unfortunately the audio is an overdub done after he died. There were no drums or other instruments on the original performance. Notice he stops playing the piano yet you hear a piano ending afterwards. Sign of overdub but no lip syncing.

Hate when people insist on comparing singers on songs, that's crazy like comparing apples and oranges,. Each singer brings their own power and emotion to the song.
Elvis is AWESOME on this the feelings he put in it thst voice and range incomparable.

It's amazing that with all the meds he was on he could still sing like that. I played trumpet in HS marching band, and after I had my wisdom teeth out, I couldn't hit my high F-Gs if I had Advil in my system!! That control alone is amazing!

Thank You Dramasyde for Your Heartfelt Words!!! Elvis Loved to Sing!!! And We Loved to Watch & Listen to him Perform!!! He poured his Soul into His music, as we can plainly see!!! Elvis Enjoyed what he did on Stage and he adored his Fans & Family!!! And You Sir are Oh So Right when you say it's Totally disrespectful to Mock or Ridicule him during that season of his life!!! It broke my heart when he died, seeing how he had gone down that path he had taken, but we All are Sinners and we All have a closet of some kind of skeleton that we must face!!! Anyone who would say that they don't, Well Sir, You & I know that they're telling a Bald-faced LIE!!! Again, Thank You Sir for your Reaction Videos and putting in your Time to Entertain your Fans & Family, who appreciate You!!! Until next time.......
