That’s mighty purty! I’m gonna do the expedited version of that on the header panel of the ‘69 pace car where some monkey heads piled a buncha bondo on a sacka walnuts. They got it within a half inch, but I’ll get it to a sixteenth 😁😁

You Sir, have just AB-SO-BLOODY-LUTELY astounded the socks off me!! I would dearly love to shake your hand!! In less than 15 minutes, you have taught me and countless others, how to do a double layered rust repair that IS a MUCH better finish, than most so called “professionals”. You simultaneously inspired a wide-reaching “Can Do” philosophy, of new found confidence to an army of men who genuinely want to try their hand at it, but would otherwise not be able to overcome the mental hurdle of just where and how to start. Great repair!! You are a good teacher. I just found your channel. I subscribed!! Thank you for the lesson. I’m looking forward to more videos and exploring your channel!!! Chris in MN!!
After watching a video I stumbled across I subscribed. I am fixing to start in on my 66 Chevelle and this being my second video I have to say you Sir are doing the Internet a favor I've been watching so many videos of how to do this and do it right the first time but you have saved me a lot of time watching any other videos I'll be watching your videos since they have the most informative and easy to follow instructions good info for the DIY feller. Thanks for sharing this golden information and your help keeping these classics around for the younger generations to see.
@@VicSwanby Thank you Sir for the awesome comment and I wanted to say welcome to my channel, I'm glad you're enjoying and being able to use the information on the videos !
This was great. I have been an auto mechanic for 45 years from farm equipment to race cars and every thing in between. I certainly don't want to do auto body repair for others, but would like to for myself. I have a 71 Nova that I have owned for 25 years. It looked decent for 20 of them, but now needs to be redone. I subscribed. Thanks
You make everything look easy (although I know it's not). Unbelievable results as no one would ever know there was a patch there and with no body filler makes it even more amazing. Just beautiful work.
Great video, easy to follow and I like that you acknowledge some of us don’t have a tig welder. It’s not to informative if a guy is teaching diy with a $7,000 CAD plasma cutter so this was great content, subscribed.
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for the instruction. Very nice and clean. I like how you keep the project clean and actually your whole shop clean as you move along.
This is why rotisserie restorations cost about 60-80k. Time, tools, materials, etc. are all expensive. No money in restoring these cars but I’m glad people do it.
Beautiful work! Got a 77 El Camino that is "quite" rusty to say the least. It will take some work, but you show just how easy it can be done. Thanks for another great vid.
This is very good work. This is how it is supposed to be done. Friendly word. I put burn through primer on the back of my replacement metal. Then etching primer after I am done then paint. You do good work glad to see it. I am going on my 54year of paint and body. Again very good A plus
Awesome result. Will try this on my 55 210 when weather permits. If it doesn’t work well for me, I can resort to body fill. Appreciate you showing the details on how to do it correctly. Excellent technique.
Wonderful video! I have always hoped to restore something myself one day and content like this is such a great knowledge transfer for those who want to learn. Thank you!
Beautiful work...inspiring.
