Steroids won't make you a champ - but on the other hand every bodybuilding champ since the 1960's has used steroids. Bottom line - if you've got the genetics and you want to be a champ, you're going to have to take steroids.
so mikthe2004 should have said, if you plan on stepping on any stage you're going to have to take steroids. just look at the regional comps. smaller smoother guys on juice.
mikthe2004 Bodybuilders from Platz to Dorian to Levrone have competed overcoming full pec tears, bicep tears where they can't even train properly...illnesses right before a show....but NONE can compete without steroids.
@jhdg how are you. Im trying to understand what kind of test and what to look for while on steroids? This seems to be a hard topic in some forums. Im doing my research but i want to learn from other people as well. I have been thinking of doing 2 cycles of Anavar, Test and Win, i am on the wrong side of 35.
So great to hear from b-pack ,I truly appreciate the truth,so glad you guys are able now to share what some of us knew ,I'm 42 natural and just now understanding my nutrition
Basically what Ben Pac is saying is steriods are essential but don't take shit loads and make sure you do the hard work eat good, train smart and consistent, sleep well. Steriods are the last thing you need to think about if you're doing everything else right!
That’s because it’s not you dunce. Millions of people take steroids and look like shit . Steroids don’t make a pro bodybuilder , it’s just icing on the cake
This guys so right. What he first says. Learn how to train properly first. Find out if you have the drive and discipline for the needed training. THEN after years of training properly take as little as possible and go up in small increments. Saying the drugs don't do much is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard anyone say. Unless its someone that doesn't train or train right that is taking the gear.
Emperor Red Pandarushi Chris doesn’t have bad genetics for building muscle. Have you seen him lately? Steroids work. It’s a fact. I’ve been hearing all sorts of steroid users lately downplay how effective they and that it’s all hard work. Of course it’s hard work. That’s a given. But let’s not act like steroids aren’t effective.
I agree lol. These dudes were on drugs for years and lots of them. Why do they always try and play it off lol 😂 I personally don't care about steroids being used by athletes. But come on it is the easy way of getting bigger, faster, stronger! Give me a break lol
Token Fatfriend they do work no doubt. They just dont work as well or as quickly as people expect. Everyone will will respond to one degree or another. You can take all the gear you want, eat train recover and you STILL wont look like Ben Pakulski. You might blow up on a cycle but it takes time to build real mature muscle tissue. You can get bigger maybe huge and lean with gear, but still nowhere near the elite. There are levels to this shit...
Vg Gm said, "In mark tney went good dor powerlifting he his who is now becauae of them." Yeah yeah but any grelin adenosine try pussfate cnainoids can ethics up da girly mans no shid
Token Fatfriend i asked Chris a month ago on Instagram if he was taking / used steroids and he said he was not using them and had used test per the doctors at some point to be at normal range.
4:45 Ben says _They should legalize steroids so at least professionals can control things and you will be getting good gear..._ This will never happen. But even if it did happen, some of the compounds, like tren for example, are not pharma gear and never were. So there would still be an illegal culture.
capoman1 they need doctors like the anabolic doc to watch over them as they juice. Doing it without someone like him is dangerous. People jsut don’t know. Bro science isn’t science.
such a dumb thing he said.. yeah like umm.. i'm a bodybuilder and i'm gonna go to my doctor and get a stack of gear to help me get huge so i can be mr olympia.. thanks to the government for legalizing steroids!
I love this discussion. I know so many, myself included, that when we take the shots its like a mental switch goes off and we HAVE to go hard and work out, and when we are natural its hard to stay motivated, etc. Its a mental thing. But diet is insane. So many think steroids are the answer and in reality, they are just one more piece of equipment that you need to use properly in order to get the results you want. You still have to put in the work. Arnold for instance didnt just take the steroids and such. He literally lived the lifestyle of eating and training and ignored most everything else. Bodybuilding isnt a weekend warrior sport. its a lifestyle for a lifetime and many need mental help like therapy as their mind gets them to the point of the mental condition known as "small man syndrome" where even the biggest person looks at themselves in the mirror and thinks they are small and goes mental trying to get bigger when they dont need too. I have had this happen myself where I look at myself in the mirror and think man I am small. Im 6'7 and it happens a lot. I just go out and hangout with my friends and then I see that Im not as small as I thought and it kind of resets my brain. SMS has killed more bodybuilders than anything else honeslty, because they go to the levels of doing insane dosages because they think they arent big enough. Brian Shaw, the current worlds strongest man, went out and tested a theory about being bigger to push more weight to win and what he found was after going to 460 pounds it hurt his body instead of helping him so he dropped weight back to around 400. Your body can only do so much even with steroids and then it becomes a mental game. this is why so many fail at dieting. Its mental. Most people would die from the insane dosages that these guys are telling people in the forums and other such places like you said when you mentioned Kai Greene. Great stuff as always guys. Keep it coming.
Shub Haba lol you dont contradict my statement, you confirm it. Its impossible to be above 220 under 6'2 with 5% body fat . Anyway, there are some Bodybuilders like Marvin Eder or Steve Reeves who had a great natural physique in the 40s-50s
just Me fair enough. During the time they compete they need money=sponsors. Sponsors dont like their athletes open about their usage as it taints their image, no matter how obvious it is.
To be fair they might not have much of a clue of how much is roids and how much is training until they stop the roids. Just like natties want to be deceived the roiders themselves want to be deceived aswell into thinkning "hm..yes...maybe it's the training I do and my superior training knowledge and creatine brand that I sell plus some genetics that makes me 15 kg more muscular than any natty yes I like that thought."
I've rung the bell on this channel i think almost 7x lol loved this talk this is what is needed at the convention in Atlanta ga. Panel session of whatever you would love to inform or talk about.

The interruptions are not needed, let Ben clear a conversation. You need to have him back on for another, without the same overtalking....please and thank you.
As a part of a bodybuilding community. There are plenty of people in gyms taking steroids. Some of them don’t even look like they do! It takes a lot more then drugs to look like a professional. If that were the case, every dude in the gym would look like a professional bodybuilder.
You would be surprised, by how many people do it. Then they don't actually read into it, so, they end up wasting it. They simply keep eating like crap, don't periodize their training and end up fat. Then they get depressed because their natural testosterone, stopped during the cycle and their estrogen sky rockets.
8:54 he nails it - no dense hard earned muscle. All water and crap from insulin, GH. Look at Franco Colombu at his peak. Hard as a rock. Chest had striations on striations. Guy trained heavy and for hypertrophy. It showed.
Räuber Hotzenplotz well yeah they help tremendously but you still have to work, testosterone and hormones and steroids does not give you muscles by itself
The natural bodybuilder will train just as hard and have a clean diet that is the same as the bodybuilder on gear. The bodybuilder on gear will always win over the natty because he has artificially high test levels and protein synthesis. Simple as that.
Kids who want do steroids will do them anyways, but it would be more helpful if instead of "oh this is too much", or "oh this is crazy amount" you 'd actually tell them "if you start doing this you can take test/deca/whatever that much for that long, and then you do this and that." There is never too much information on this topic. The more you repeat this the faster it'll get to their brains.
everything is calculated.. 4 meals, rice asparagus steak strips (1) per meal, 2 protein shakes, oatmeal before training at the gym. pre workout 45 min before training.
Giving Chris the benefit of the doubt, I think the sentiment is that you can give Joe Blow the best toolset in the world, and he'll still get less done than a dedicated and skilled carpenter with a hand saw and a hammer. The impact of the drugs is directly correlated with the training effort that you put in.
PEDs are illegal, they can get you banned, and even stripped of titles in your respective sport. If "they don't really do much" no one would risk it, right? Taking PEDs, and busting your ass is how it's done. Downplaying either is a little ridiculous in my opinion.
The point he is making isnt that he couldve been a olympia finalist without the steroids. The point he is making is simply the steroids amplified the results of his hard work. Because just about everything else he did, any other natty can do. Any natty can eat 300g of protein a day, get up do their cardio, lift 5-6 times a week, get their nutrition down to a tee. But alot of people dont get their meals in, dont get their cardio in, dont train as hard or skimp out on the muscles they dont like to train as much. Everyone can cut the bullshit out of the lives and do the work that needs to be done to attain a good physique but no one has the discipline nor the patience to do so for 5, 10, 20 years before they say fuck it and quit. What he is saying is that he had the drive, plan and discipline to follow through and without them, no level of roids wouldve given him the physique he has today
Most stupidest comment on earth,''Drugs don't really do much at all''. Unfortunately they are the difference in this fringe activity of being big and ripped to not being big and ripped..
Exactly. If drugs didnt matter that much, then why do 100 percent of the ifbb pros need them just to get a pro card right? They all say the same shit. "You cant do it without hard work, dedication, disapline, consistency..blah blah fuckin blah". Well, that goes for any goal in life. But if i just do those things for competitive bodybuilding, powerlifting, or any other professional strength sport, im not going to get there unless i add anabolics to the list. You'll never see a pro credit his success to drugs. And the truth is, he couldnt have got there without drugs. Coleman and cutler basically said you cant get to the top without gear. But they will always credit their "dedication" for their success and not the fact that chemicals took them to that level.
The anabolic steroid is used to help your muscles recover quickly. You still have to do a lot of hard training to get the results. You don't just take the drug and do nothing. You have to tell the body to grow the muscles. The pro bodybuilders use it as a tool. Just like someone who fasts to loose weight. You still have to do the training and hard work. Have a good night people.
oh yeah dude, my squats went from 315 for 20 to 315 for barely 12, and deadlift went down a little less, but the gym just isnt fun on keto tbh. if i was doing it and not training, it would be great, mental clarity and energy and stuff, but damn the gym sucks on it lol
@@ramsiffle My experience on keto as well. I feel great, lots of energy, laser focus & clarity, but halfway through a weightlifting workout I would hit a wall and feel completely drained to the point I feared I'd faint at times if I kept pushing it. I switched to a twice a week full body workout and ate 1 large baked potato only on those 2 days a couple of hours before my workout. That cured the problem and I manage to get back into ketosis within 24-36 hours post potato. Best of both worlds for me.
It was a ok talk. Yes the foundation is food rest and sleep. Supplementation should be done cautiously and under a doctor's provision. It's like anything else you is it like a vitamin and don't abuse it
If steroids don’t do the majority of the work, then explain female bodybuilders and explain why bodybuilders in the pre-Arnold era don’t compare to modern day bodybuilders. Steroid users also by definition have no integrity.
Bodybuilders during the 50s, 60s and 70s used very small amounts of steroids or testosterone. I remember reading, they generally took .5ml of testosterone, during their cutting phase. This was to maintain muscle, while they were dieting. Today bodybuilders, take several different kinds. They take doses of Andriol, HGH, insulin, testosterone, Deca and then you got to add T3 with Clenbuterol. Don't forgot your estrogen blockers. There is a lot more stuff going on. That's just the stuff I can remember but don't ask me how or when they use it.
Simple fact is all of them have used steroids to get anyware in the industry be it fitness model or body building u have to have 4 things genetics training ethic diet and juice simple as
There is so much intelligence between you guys but I heard the comment that drugs don’t do much at all. All I ask is take away drugs from bodybuilding and see what the Mr Olympia looks like. Unfortunately drugs in this sport play a big role, just like training and diet. Every other part I agree. To many people jump to drugs first. People need to train and diet and meet their genetic potential. If they want to use drugs start small and ask someone who knows. On a side note I was fortunate enough to play college football and in all honesty steroids were not even mentioned. I had one of the best college coaches ever tell me steroids do not replace talent. Everyone was tested and they watch you pee in the cup so that movie the program was not at all how it’s done. I hear so many guys on TH-cam say it’s in all sports. It’s not even fair to compare bodybuilding drug use to other sports. Anyways it’s always great to see intelligent guys talking about fitness. Loved all your documentaries and Ben you are by far one of the most intelligent men in bodybuilding.
Ben gaining weight on Keto means he’s eating too much fat. That’s a common outcome. If he lowers his fat intake and increases protein, his performance will bounce back and he’ll profit, guaranteed.
A lot of people are not listening to what they’re saying. They are trying to advise people to just stay natural & that the new era of bodybuilding is going to shit.
Steroids litteraly change the game. No way around that. But, so does cocain or meth. Its imortant to think of the future before taking any drug etc. Dont think short term, ever!
Yo I'm in my early teens and I weigh 70 KG and with the height of 6,3 feet. I think i am fat but usually im not, i know i cant put on any bulk and i eat unhealthy occasionally but usually have good dinners and lunches. Any tips?
AJH did the research between the binding proteins, and the entire chemistry. my buddy Cole showed me some links and I did my research before I even tried them. I am Rick of the lab that loved to lift heavy shit and put them down.
Steroids won't make you a champ - but on the other hand every bodybuilding champ since the 1960's has used steroids. Bottom line - if you've got the genetics and you want to be a champ, you're going to have to take steroids.
mikthe2004 every champ has been on juice, your right. So was every competitor the champ beat.
so mikthe2004 should have said, if you plan on stepping on any stage you're going to have to take steroids. just look at the regional comps. smaller smoother guys on juice.
even the natty comps have guys who cycle and then come off lmao

“The drugs won’t do much” fucking hell someone give this guy a medal for comedy
These guys are talking a bunch of trash. lol the drugs didn’t help and weren’t as strong as my natural drive. 😂😂😂😂
Ben is such a brilliant source of rational, intelligent information. So rare and so refreshing these days.
I'm 54 and on TRT, I get my blood work done every 3 months. I do 200mg every two weeks and Im stronger now then i was in my twenties.

No active Pro Bodybuilder would be over 220lbs and under 6% Body fat on stage without Steroids.
Keep Rocking! Watch bodybuilders from the 50s,the last decade before steroids came into the "sport" none of them was above 220lbs
Larrypint
Damn u know ur shit
Larrypint at 5'10 try over 175lbs @5% contest shape drug free
bodybuilding is the hormones, you stupid fuck

BullShit!! No One Has Showed Up Yet!!
Everybody knows Ben Pakulski's stack is 5000mg of test and 2000mg of tren straight into the calves.
James Gillam Lmfao
James Gillam yeah!
It was actually the Achilles tendon where he pinned
Anavar for his neck
Im sure you're actually close bud

Semper Fipar And only a guy who knows nothing at all about anabolic steroid use would say what you just did.
Semper Fipar man just posted something similar. I was shocked to hear that comment. In bodybuilding they are a large part of the equation.
He literally said he hasn’t always been on steroids. All of these guys made huge progress naturally. Congratulations on missing the entire point of the video
I know it is bad depends how you used it, but my Question is is I were to used it and have the body I want does it means I have to continue or ?
Awesome show !!!! Keep it up!!!
Love how Ben P perpetually tries to underplay the magnitude steroids play in bodybuilding
TODAYS BODYBUILDING IS A DRUG SPORT the Future for the IFBB is Classic Physique

Really enjoying Ben's podcast.
Help!! Can u run Tren without test/deca etc? Thanks
These guys know damn well if they took steroids they would look like they used to, but the drugs do nothing right?

"You cant do it without hard work, dedication, disapline, consistency..blah blah fuckin blah". Well, that goes for any goal in life. But if i just do those things for competitive bodybuilding, powerlifting, or any other professional strength sport, im not going to get there unless i add anabolics to the list. You'll never see a pro credit his success to drugs. And the truth is, he couldnt have got there without drugs. Coleman and cutler basically said you cant get to the top without gear. But they will always credit their "dedication" for their success and not the fact that chemicals took them to that level.
love it. ben wants to be healthy, novel idea.
I wasn't eating enough. 2,400 cal a day wasnt giving me a boost in energy. once I ate 4,300 a day, I grew like a super tree.
Come on Smelly, you can't be having faulty mics!!!
Ben seems much smaller to me. Is it out of BB? listen closely to 10:41 they are a big tool to big development.
Fit-Life he got off all juice and changing his life
Michael Hosein except for some testosterone trt.

He is retired from competing but is a trainer.
That massive gh gut he got from abuse ended him
Would love to see Phill Heath on Powercast!!
Pretty sure he was at SuperTraining a couple months ago. Maybe the video will be posted after the Olympia?
A cocky Gucci wearing social media bitch who mainly 'trains' with machines and who is bloated with insulin? No fucking thanks!
It's not "Phill". It's Philsulina.
No one likes him
Steven Diahy
i like him, loser
I feel the same on keto as Ben, feels great, no performance in the gym no matter how high my calories are.
oh yeah dude, my squats went from 315 for 20 to 315 for barely 12, and deadlift went down a little less, but the gym just isnt fun on keto tbh. if i was doing it and not training, it would be great, mental clarity and energy and stuff, but damn the gym sucks on it lol

My experience on keto as well.
Best of both worlds for me.
much respect to Ben. He is the man
Quality content
It was a ok talk. Yes the foundation is food rest and sleep. Supplementation should be done cautiously and under a doctor's provision. It's like anything else you is it like a vitamin and don't abuse it
And you right its dam hard but I've become patient over the yrs
Bodybuilding with steroids is a completely different thing than natural bodybuilding.
On point
What planet are these guys from?
7:20 min ..... true part, best part!
10 weeks on test > 10 years of natty training
Not really 10 weeks= 2 years maybe of natty training.
Ben is the F****** Man.
Godbless Y
Simple fact is all of them have used steroids to get anyware in the industry be it fitness model or body building u have to have 4 things genetics training ethic diet and juice simple as
Mark is so amused by adjusting his mike stand.
I love your videos
Ben gaining weight on Keto means he’s eating too much fat. That’s a common outcome. If he lowers his fat intake and increases protein, his performance will bounce back and he’ll profit, guaranteed.
Let Ben talk!
Man, these guys are annoying...they keep cutting Ben off when he’s the real reason anyone is listening.
Yo I'm in my early teens and I weigh 70 KG and with the height of 6,3 feet. I think i am fat but usually im not, i know i cant put on any bulk and i eat unhealthy occasionally but usually have good dinners and lunches. Any tips?
Repost?♻️
Ben looks like he competes in classic bodybuilding . He doesnt look big what so ever for an open category.
Hes clearly retired
Is the guy in the blue hat corkey off life goes on
Mark has gone a lot smaller
AJH did the research between the binding proteins, and the entire chemistry. my buddy Cole showed me some links and I did my research before I even tried them. I am Rick of the lab that loved to lift heavy shit and put them down.
