I got a swing arm that color for sale. I upgraded to a KEPSPEED ALUMINUM SWINGARM 1 INCH OVER STOCK. I have a champion 125 ice bear the same color green. I purchased it 2022.
Yeah it doesn't have no bearings the stock has in thrush washers on the side with rubber. The one that I replaced it with has roller bearings and comes with two washers that you put on each end of the swingarm to run the pivot bolt through. The torque distortion stocks swing arms. Yeah I recommend you replace that out ASAP. What's an aluminum one.
The Ice Bear Champion order form offers a digital speedo and an aluminum swing arm for $99; recommend? Prior to this issue, had you noticed any lateral play at the swing arm? I ask because I watched another enthusiast catch some play back there and two accommodating washers resolved the issue on the Amigo (for much more money).
for $99 thats a good value. I initially had some play . It felt trashy. I put in new delrin bushings which is the correct fix.Im not sold on the washer idea. But whatever. I have a video on the bushings also.
Here is a guy who is making them and selling on e bay www.ebay.com/itm/194311949024?hash=item2d3de50ae0:g:0FYAAOSwy8ZhJhuD&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAsNXMFNIXWGdXKhop5eYqD8JzLLo5VJ7rMSHRAonf8wkDeXTSd%2BV8mReMXkAFeitOzptIlsVMHhSGeLYC4qQGUu2p1R7ul8S6eRwMgvcwQqVMgmK8%2FwnV5Z%2Bzzo45ntmfwxMpIfgwfRKprNWEE51CH%2F2DC87SM5O4Rp3o25rrf81fogRxRdwqpwE18y6YBWXo5bSyEhLZm9zveKz%2BCYgj7RE7ONTI9z%2FGlxqyQu1VGSas%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR-r16cmuYQ
Great video on chain install !!!! My IB Champion every time I ride it , it seems like the chain has stretched !!! When I tighten it , it seems like I have a sprocket out of round as the chain goes from " tight " to " loose " when I turn the tire ??? Is this the chain stretched harder in a certain area ??
A couple things here. The stock chain is not very good. Mine stretched quite a bit and I replaced it early on. Mine also goes from tight to loose. I think they all do it . My friend has two of them and they both do it. I believe its the rear sprocket is either out of round or is not concentric on the hub. Just do your best at chain adjustment. Make sure at the tightest spot it has some play and then at its loosest spot of course it will have more play. If I find a better fix I will post it. But I just live with it like this . It seems ok.
@@yeksun Thanks for the reply , O.K , then maybe that normal . I've done the VM26 carb , and Delrin rear bushings , and WOW what a difference !!! I'm deeply considering doing the 4 speed conversion to it . Next though I have the bigger tires to put on , raise front fender and Honda decals .
Did you check out trail Buddy here in Michigan? They sell them aluminum swing arms are them nylon bushings you replaced?
Good video! Thanks for sharing! I’ll be inspecting mine.
Thanks for commenting. Im not sure why or how this happened. But youll know it when it does. The bike starts handling funny and doesnt go straight .
To sum things up, the original just “wasn’t up to what it was cracked up to be !!”
