Mike Bickle's Worst Betrayal: Asked IHOPKC Leader to Be Quiet While His Son Had Affair with His Wife

It now looks as if what we first heard didn't spell out what really happened. It wasn't just that Mike Bickle and Stuart Greaves and/or IHOP-KC's ELT covered up the affair between Bickle's son and the man's wife, which would be bad enough, but they actually asked him to be quiet while the affair continued for over a year after they found out, during which time this leader wanted to get back with his wife.
Basically Bickle said to him: "Be quiet while my son destroys your marriage and prevents any chance of reconciliation."
Imagine what this husband was going through day after day for over a year between anger, sadness, and feeling betrayed by Bickle, his wife, and the ELT.
It's as if Bickle said: "My son wants your wife. Let him have her."
This shows the length IHOP-KC leaders went to cover up for Mike Bickle!! So Mike was more important than the sin that was taking place!!!

Such love of truth, and courage, will never be silenced! I am so grateful for her clarion voice, and those with her, resounding so bravely in defense of the ones who have been abused and deceived, and also for the ones blinded by false loyalty to leadership without being aware of the facts, so they too can be free! I am appalled by those who claim to know and love Jesus that but have known the truth all these years, and also the ones who just recently found out, that are more concerned with defending lies and a ministry, rather than lives that have been wickedly damaged and the name of the Lord they have forgotten knows it all! Not me. How is it that they did not realize that complicity in silence was purely evil? They were not part of the prayer movement at that point, they were involved in sin and it’s cover-up. Looking at Jesus would never have allowed them to do the delay that they did. If they had been looking at Jesus, they never could’ve compromised. Sorry. This is not fearless truth. I’m glad they came forward, but what they did was wrong, deeply terribly wrong, like being silent as the Nazis rise. Same thing.
The problem isn’t the sin that was going on but that the leaders are completely unrepentant. “they will say, I did this and that in my name, and I will say, depart from me you workers of lawlessness. I never knew you”
Oh my gosh it just keeps getting worse and worse. So now not only is mike spiritually and sexual abusing so is is son and its not a secret??!!?

I can identify to some degree as the man who was alone, separated from his family, labelled the one in the wrong and subsequently ignored. It wasn't another Christian that seduced my wife, so the church rallying around her were not protecting a leader - they were simply believing lies. They knew not about her infidelity.
Because I had previously made a very vocal stand against the church position on 'C' and 'V', the first thing somebody said to my (now ex) wife on hearing that I had been put out the family home was:
"Now he's gone, you and the kids can get protected"
So how much more would cowardly men protect leaders when doing so protects their own positions, titles and interests?
I love that lady's heart attitude. She has infinitely more authority than any of the cowards running IHOP because she loves with the love that Jesus has given her.

Apparently according to Volz lHOPKC is no longer in a state of crisis anymore. So pretty much any other victims that come out will be swept under the rug. This is not a reflection of Christ likeness but of people in places of power and money with a lot to hide, so this is the best cover up that their money could buy. I am genuinely afraid for their eternal soul’s.

I finally get it. God has brought judgment upon Mike not only for HIS sin, but for the way he handled the sins of others. He was lenient, negligent, & remiss. There was no fear of God. To whom much is given, nothing is required. … NO! MUCH IS REQUIRED!, which means everything is required: integrity, holiness, honesty, humility, purity, & character. It isn't as easy as you think when it is a group of independent churches. Mike is not a major leader, except for only those independent fringe churches who listened to him. So which part of the body of Christ is supposed to lend support? What are they supposed to do except suggest that people leave such churches? It is kind of hard to do something when there isn't truly the authority to do something.
Look at even the denominational churches or those under strong central leadership, they too have problems and they also sweep things under the rug.

Christians need to have their sexual house in order before ministry. Its 101 level stuff. Its understandable if you struggle sexually or with porn. Those are difficult items. Avoid leadership. And should you sin sexually fall quickly on your sword. There is no other way. People understand...you will be forgiven and we can move on. Of course using your ministry as a farm system for young and trustinf fresh meat is another story.

It's not just as if Bickle said, "my son wants your wife, let him have her,'' (bad enough for sure) but that he was going to put off the investigation into this affair with his son so that they wouldn't UNCOVER his OWN sin with this woman, which was going to have to happen if they kept probing. Sneaky, Snakey Mike who turned the House of Prayer into a den of thieves. Stealing young innocence, his neighbor's wife, and God's glory all at once. And living off the ministry income too. That's what was revealed on at least one other YT channel but you can read The Roys Report article titled: Advocate Group: IHOPKC Founder Mike Bickle Covered Up Son’s Affair, Threatened Whistleblower. (The report references a video that is linked on that report).

I am so sad about the sin at IHOP and equally sad about the condemnation that the church has put on the leaders there. Christians need to look inward at their own sin and get their life in order and realize that we are all on a journey of becoming better people in the Lord. Then we can realize we are all on the same boat and can give other Christian’s grace as Jesus gives all of us grace in our shortcomings and repentance

And when they DON'T go and sin no more and continue their sinning, then even the Bible talks about publicly rebuking and it also says to EXCOMMUNICATE them. Who in the Protestant Realm excommunicates anyone? But, like people are commenting, NOONE has the the authority to do that because these pastors are their own authority. Who has the authority to excommunicate Mike Bickle? And even if an excommunication is done, they have every legal right to just go start another church group somewhere else and just keep exhibiting their sinful behavior with another group of gullible sheep. UNLESS, we talk about their behavior to everyone AND/OR take legal action. But some of the behavior is not illegal. Having an affair is not illegal in our country. Even with Ted Haggard, him having sexual relations with other men was and is not illegal in our country.
So, use your head and not your emotions. This behavior among these people is going to stop. And we have to work together, not a bandwagon, but a 'must do' goal that we can make a difference and accomplish this goal, together. Power in numbers. We have to do more than just pray. WE are the ones with the gift of free will. WE are responsible to choose good choices and to choose to help each other choose good choices. I was in a situation under an apostolic father and I saw things not right (no sexual misconduct) I knew things were off. I heard A B and D but C was always missing.
I knew stuff saw stuff and felt stirrings of wrong doing but I just couldn't get it all together.
I was under it for a decade and for 5 years I begged God to show me and confirm what I thought I knew.
I got no understanding... Until this apostolic father left town. Literally 24 hours after he left the veil was lifted and suddenly I saw it all as clear as day. .
I was SO ANGRY with the Lord for not confirming what I knew and even asked him directly about.
I didn't speak to god for 6 months. I was enraged at losing 5 years to serving a man I knew was just wrong.
Then one day I woke up and suddenly I knew it wasn't God that had protected this man.... It was the SPIRIT OF DIVINATION!!!
The reason I suddenly could make sense of all the things that I knew but couldn't add up was because the spirit of divination was preventing me from getting the full pix. It was protecting the man because the man was doing damage.
I fell on my face in repentance to the Lord for blaming him and being so enraged i didn't speak to him for 6 months.
Everything was clear for 1st time in a decade.
