Just the idea of being able to make cheesesteaks in which the masses will be able to critique would be a gratifying experience. For them to go home or to work and say "I had the best cheesesteak sandwich, made by so and so" would be a great feeling. Also those sandwich are huge. Wonderful. Blessings.

Wow!!!!! Donkey's food must be still around. I used to eat at Donkey's when I was growing up in New Jersey and visiting the restaurant when I was in the service. If I visit my sister in Camden, I will stop by Donkey's once again and will order a cheesesteak sandwich 🥪 and fries. Donkey's sandwiches have been always delicious 😋. I have never tasted any nasty foods from Donkey's. Donkey's has always make outstanding and scrumptious 😋 😍 👌 foods 😋. I hope they stay around for decades to come.
There are a lot of joints like this in Jersey. There's a place where I'm from that's famous for making a cheese steak hoagie. It's a cheese steak with raw onions lettuce and tomatoes. I grew up eating them.
It's similar to Philly Cheesesteak from Philadelphia. Here in Brazil, where I live, I put Cheesesteak on the menu of my restaurant like they do in Philadelphia and it's been a big hit. I call it "Cheesesteak Brazil".

Donkeys is one of the best places for a jersey style cheesesteak not to be confused with the South Philly cheesesteak two very different sandwiches but similar and both are really tasty we lost a lot of great family run and owned restaurants because of Covid I’m glad to see the donkeys survived all the craziness we’ve had these last couple years

there is a place in London called Passyunk Avenue. That is the name of the street in Philly where famous Geno's and Pat's steaks are located. a guy from Philly owns it and they say their steaks are pretty good.

I love donkeys. I grew up in donkeys as a young boy with my brother and my father. He would go have a beer while they would make sandwiches my brother and I will share a Coke and I’m 57 years old and I still go there to this day, that location is the best out of all the other locations because the grill is so seasoned it makes the food taste so much better if you haven’t gone there you must try it. It’s five star no lie for cheesesteaks.
I have risked life and limb and traveled to Americas Beirut, aka, Camden New Jersey to try these and in my opinion, they literally blow away anything in Philly. Every time I am within an hour, and am carrying, I will go back to Donkeys. Been there 6 times.

The rolls are so good in NJ. You can get those rolls with butter at 7/11. Many people get them on the way to work with their cofffee.

The bread makes or breaks a cheesesteak. I love the paprika on the onions and the way everything is simmered, keeps it from getting dried out.
