I’m new to guitar, late starter at 48yrs old. I’m going through your videos to find a beginner friendly tune. After looking at many other lesson video’s I’ve decided you’re the best so unfortunately for you and the other watchers you’re stuck with me tagging along 👍🏼
Cool! I'm also a pretty late starter. Started a year ago at 34 years old, got both an electric and acoustic. I've been playing at least 30 min every day, and made some nice progress, at least according to musician friends. Can I come with an advice, one late starter to another? Try signing up to some guitar on demand lesson site, like guitartricks or jamplay. You learn the instrument and theory pretty well there. Then taking excursions to youtube chanels like this to learn songs becomes easier, when knowing some theory and your way around the guitar. Thats my experience at least. I just learned the kids arnt allright and (sic), each in less than a days work. A year ago, I couldnt even work out the intro riff from Walk. Good luck with your learning, its so fun!
Excellent tutorial. It's so much fun to crank up the amp and rock out to this classic. For others with small hands, I suggest to keep on trying the stretch. It is difficult, but I can just make it. It's faster than switching to the different chord shape. You can also play just the extra notes without the E, or stay on the E power chord without adding the extra notes. I used to be discouraged from even trying to learn a song if I couldn't play all the chords or notes. Now I simplify/modify as needed and still enjoy making music.
Good job, great teaching method. I like how you break things into digestible chunks, repeat segments at a slow speed, and key on the strum pattern. The opening riff has been driving me crazy, but I think I have it now because of you. Thanks.
Alex comgratulation All the songs you teach are excellent, the alternate way riff helped me a lot, it was complicated for me, thank you very much from Mexico
Man i completly love your channel learnt so much from you. But just o throw this out there, you totally look like the guy from FarCry 3 haha. Appreciate you man love from germany
