    Bentley that Cub Cadet HSD2155 were built from 1996 to 1999. You should be able to find lawn mower rim bushings to fix that gap on the front wheels. Great job getting it going again👍🏼.

    Good Job!
    I'll tell ya though, you'll be better off swapping the tires onto the original front wheels. Though I know doing tires on those little wheels can be tough.
    If you look at them carefully, you'll see the originals have a beefier hub (look at how much bigger around the wheel hub is that = stronger) and the reason you have to use spacers is the new wheels are narrower at the center hub. There is probably a bushing or bearing in the original wheels that can be replaced so they don't wobble. And no spacers required. I've been in the same place before, trying to juggle wheels from one mower to another. Love watching and trying to coach you from my easy chair. LOL
    Good luck!

    Great work Bentley, keep it up young man. 1 bit of advice, those front rims are supposed to have bushings in them or you'll ruin the rim and axle. Tractor supply should have them. You should be able to get plastic ones or brass ones

    • @steveM1341
      @steveM1341 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yep. Those wheel and tire sets usually come with several sizes of plastic bearings, but I like to press out the old metal bearings from the old wheels and reuse them assuming they are in good shape and the correct size for the new wheels.

    When I was about your age, I found an abandoned Wheel Horse lawnmower with a snowblower attachment in our lower garage and got it working so I could blow snow in the winter.
    Back in those days, I had to get a ride to the county library to read the Wheel Horse repair manual and make sketches of the diagrams because making photo copies was expensive.

    Another good video with lessons learned. Bushings on front wheels - don't ignore problems when things don't fit properly! It will cause more damage and personal injury too. That stubborn lug nut was trying to tell you something - either a bad thread or just too rusty. And NEVER use an impact driver to install spark plugs - they can easily cross thread.

    great job Bently, a couple if things, you're going to want to change those front tires over to the old rims, they won't last long otherwise, as for the year of the Rig, look under the seat, you should have a tag there with a serial number and model number, Look for the "U" in the number. The numbers after the "U" will be the part that indicates the year of manufacture

    Bentley Bud you can use some PVC plastic pipe cut down into rim spacer sleeve bushings for those new rims. By marking the length of the shaft from the very back washer from the original layout. And drill out those pieces of PVC pipe to slide onto the metal shafts easily. Then light grease the shafts to slide those rims on. Front and back both. Tap those sleeves in with A ball pin hammer.
